05/09/12 Juan Armando is on top of his game!! From the moment I texted him... to the end of the appointment. He is great! His fast reply via text to schedule the appointment: date and time I requested - available. His follow up prior to the appointment. Easy to get to and plenty of parking... great looking neighborhood. The greeting at the door. His set-up! The session! And the departure. All fantastic and professional. He welcomed me in. Had a tall chilled bottle of water waiting for me. His table with clean and welcoming sheets. Perfect ambiance - music and indoor temperature (it was over 80 degrees outside). His hands and arms techniques were unbelieveable - took care of every tight muscle and aches. Enjoyed the SCRUB on my back and he explained the purpose of the scrub. Then it all came to an end. I wanted more time - but understood his schedule did not allow it. Will I return to him?? YES, of course! I hope to see him again in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend Juan Armando! I forgot to add... great to look at too!!

My back was sore from pulling alot of hours at work and was amazing about paying attention to my back and taking the stress,off it i app it was the best I had had...

01/15/11 I sent Juan a text last night and then promptly fell asleep. When I woke up, there was a text waiting for me from Juan. I called Juan and we were able to set up an appointment for today, which was great. He explained his rates and I decided to come to his home rather than have him come to me. He sent his address by text message, noting that it might be more accurate than telling me over the phone. His place was easy for me to find, on a quiet street, and in a nice and safe neighborhood. Juan answered the door promptly gave me a warm greeting, and shook my hand. He is a very good looking man, better than the pictures suggest. More importantly, he has a very pleasant demeanor that immediately put me at ease. He asked me about my problem areas and then explained his routine which begins with a salt rub to exfoliate the back. I got undressed and he began with the exfoliation which felt very good and left my skin very smooth. That was followed with a very professional and thorough massage. While I enjoyed all of the massage, I especially enjoyed the work he did on my feet. He gave them a lot of attention and it felt great! The massage finished very nicely and he offered me some water. Knowing that I was a visitor to the area, he asked whether I needed any suggestions regarding things to do. He seemed sincerely interested in my having a nice visit to Arcadia and mentioned a few things I might want to consider doing while I am here. While I do plan to see Juan again the next time I'm in the Pasadena or Arcadia areas, there were a couple things that could have been better. First, the face cradle on his table could have been a little softer. I have sensitive sinuses along with a jaw that has been shattered so some face cradles are uncomfortable for me. Second, it could have been a little warmer in his apartment. By the way, his apartment was immaculate! Finally, I think he should add a picture of his table all set up and ready for an appointment to his listing. That would show that he is serious about massage - which he clearly is! All in all, Juan is a safe bet! If you are looking for a great massage from a nice, great looking guy, Juan is your man.

11/07/10 I sent a text to Juan and he replied immediately. I was a bit nervous as this was only my second time meeting with a massage therapist in a private setting (not a spa). When he answered the door, I immediately felt at ease. He was kind and polite and made me feel welcome. Juan provided a legitimate and professional massage and I was most pleased with my experience with him. I plan to make an appointment with him on a regular basis.

09/29/10 I set up my appointment easily with Juan by email. He is a very exotic and sexy guy (much better than the online pics show). One big plus was that he brought a very comfortable table with him. The massage techniques are very professional and equally sensual and for me were the perfect combination. His touch is not overly rough, but nice and deep. The salt scrub on the back was a real bonus. You just can't go wrong with Juan. I will be setting up another appointment with him as soon as I know when I will be back in the LA area....so don't keep him too busy!
