My focus as a practitioner is to create a pleasurable experience that leads to remembering how it feels to be alive and conscious, that assists in opening oneself to the pleasure of being at home in one's flesh. This bodywork is an opportunity to relish the pleasure of being alive, learning, growing and healing. 11/01/11 Dave is amazing! He tells you to just forget about everything and it's such a sensual yet relaxing experience. I almost fell asleep through the entire thing. I told him I love hot rooms and he definitely delivered. The music was perfect. All in all, one of the best massage therapists in the bay area.

04/17/11 You will have to search long and hard to find a therapist with the power or the intuition that Dave has. I have been seeing him since 2001 every time i come to california. If i am within 100 miles, i will make sure that i can stop in for a session. While i have had bodywork done by many therapists, i have never felt as safe with anyone else. at the end of the session just being held and gently rocked is one of the highlights of every visit. This trip i has just ridden my motorcycle for 12 hours and left feeling fully refreshed. thank you again Dave

04/09/10 Dave offers a truly unique and joyous experience. The way he leverages his strength and size to literally move your body all around the table and touch your entire body using his entire body is magical. His descriptions of all the different styles of work he brings to a session are great. Dave clearly has a deep understanding of how our spirituality and physicality are connected to success and fulfillment in all the different aspects of our lives. This level of knowledge and experience came through in many ways before and after the massage. Mainly, my questions and curiosity about bodywork styles and tantra in particular were answered before I got there. Then, once I arrived, I easily got out of my head and into my body as soon as the massage started. Simply put, I get a lot of massage in the Bay Area and around the world on regular business travel, but Dave is incredibly special. He has a strong presence with a gentle nature. I felt intensely cared for and honored by him. Feeling incredibly fulfilled immediately after the massage, the physical benefits kept coming back to me over several days. You must experience this to understand it fully. Having had great physical work outs during massage, simple gentle kneading that just feels good, intense tantra and taoist work in groups and one-on-one, Dave manages to combine many of these experiences into a single session. While the spiritual and tantric work was the most immediately memorable, I was really pleased to discover additional benefits in the hours and days that followed.

01/04/10 WOW, Dave was by far the best massage therapist I have ever seen....I'm a very active athlete, and pay the price in pain...If Dave was in my town, I would see him at least once a week. With out a doubt I would go back for another massage. J

10/06/09 Dave was very professional from the very beginning. Scheduling was incredibly simple and he was willing to work around my hectic schedule, which is rare to find (and greatly appreciated!). The actual massage was unlike any I've ever experienced. He's had so much training in so many different styles that it's like multiple massages in one! Somatics, Breema, Esalen, Swedish, Deep Tissue - i had never even heard of most of them! But the icing on the cake was the energy work he did to top off the amazing massage experience. I've never felt such intensity from one person. I could literally feel the sensations from the top of my head flowing all the way through to my perineum. So much so that it was difficult standing afterwords (after all, this was NOT an average massage - and I've never had another comparable to it since). I don't purchase massages very often so, when i do, i want them to count. I would DEFINITELY recommend Dave Gerdes to anyone looking for something MORE from a massage. I can't say this enough! Simply professional, amazing work, Dave! Thank you!
