11/15/11 Nick gave me a very good massage. The therapeutic part of it was very vigorous and thorough. He has strong hands and uses them well. The erotic part was even more satisfying. My only complaint is that Nick wasn't a bit friendly. He wasn't rude, exactly, but he made it very clear that he didn't want any kind of conversation or banter - before, during or after the massage. There was also very little eye contact. In the past, I've had several massage therapists who gave me a big hug as I departed. Nick just opened the door, said "thanks" and "goodbye." Those aspects of the experience felt mechanical and cold.

09/17/10 I saw Nick nearly 2 weeks ago and have been thinking about scheduling my next massage with him sooner than later. From the moment we chatted on the phone, he was very friendly and professional. We set up an appointment for the next day. I was running about 20 minutes late and he was very generous to accommodate me and give me the full amount of time (I think we went over a few minutes), despite having another appointment scheduled shortly after we finished. All without making the experience feel the least bit rushed. Upon arriving, he made me feel very comfortable by offering me water and showed me the way to his bathroom for use if needed. He showed me where to place my things and invited me lay on his comfortable table. Nick isn't licensed, but that doesn't show in his abilities. I've had far less satisfying experiences with masseurs who were licensed to the hilt. Nick knows the human body very well, especially men's bodies. This isn't surprising since he is in such amazing shape. Truly a beautiful guy, inside and out! He has the most amazingly smooth and soft, yet strong hands. Be careful what you ask for when you tell him the amount of pressure you like.;c) I stated I liked deep work. Nick's level of deep doesn't compare to other masseurs I've worked with in the past. This is due to his extremely lean and muscular physique and velvety strong hands. No worries though, I realized Nick's deep was deeper than I usually prefer and asked him to adjust and he made the transition effortlessly. Still deep by my standards, but just the way I liked it. The most important part of any massage experience for me is the therapeutic aspect. I often carry a lot of tension and stress in my shoulders and back, and I always want this addressed and relieved more than anything. He did just that. He also noticed an area of my body that wasn't symmetrical and checked in with me to see if there were any issues he should be aware of. There was no problem, but I appreciated how perceptive, intuitive, and thorough he was as he worked on me. The added bonus is the sensual aspect that I find inherent in massage, but doesn't always come across depending on the masseur. I definitely felt this quality present during my experience with Nick. I found it to be a wonderfully balanced experience and can't wait to get back to see Nick soon.

06/19/10 Nick responded to my appointment request promptly, and I was grateful he could do a 9 pm appointment on short notice. I am recovering from a rigorous trek through the Himalayas and whole body needed attention, and I was also needing some man to man time. Nick doesn't publish his face in his pictures due to a desire to remain discreet, so I did not realize I had actually seen him once before. I was glad of that since my recollection of the previous experience was good. He didn't remember me right off. I had lost 30 lbs since I saw him last, but after we got going, he remembered and that made me feel good too. Nick is a poster child for the beauty of mixed race people. Other reviewers said he was shy, and I can see why, but it's more of an amalgam of humble, respectful, gentle, strong, and everything that is lovable about being in the company of a tender hearted and good man. Nick is great to talk to, and it doesn't distract him from his work. It reminds me of going to the barber. It's great man to man time and I left wishing I had more friends like him, but I'll settle for having him as a masseur. The massage was better than the first time as I recall. Nick isn't certified, so he's created his own techniques. He found the painful stuff and hit it pretty good, especially in my neck and shoulders. He hit the IT band on my legs where it counted, and all in all it was satisfying. The only sad thing is that my eyes were closed for so much of the session, I didn't get to watch his beautiful body until the last 15 minutes or so. The pictures do not do him justice. I don't often go for the full release, but it felt really natural and nice with Nick as he builds it into his work. I left feeling refreshed, seen, cared about and looking forward to seeing him again sometime soon I hope.

03/09/10 I contacted Nick a day before my appointment....he readily agreed to the time requested and gave excellent directions to his location. I took the BART and found it to be an easy, short walk from the MacArthur station in Oakland to his place. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood before and after...there are interesting Korean and Ethiopian restaurants, funky coffee shops and many other interesting shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. I called Nick when I arrived at his location. He came down and met me at the gated entrance. He lead me to his comfortable and warm appartment on a breezy cool day. He was both friendly and a good conversationalist. I took off my clothers and got on the comfortable massage table. I agree with other reviews that he has very soft hands that immediately get you in the mood for a very thorough and enjoyable massage. The massage is both therapeutic and sensual. Nick has good instincts in regards to what you enjoy and what problems or needs your body may have. His description on his page is fully accurate and that makes for a fully satisfied customer. It is all as he says and fully worth the money spent. I completely recommend him and encourage you San Franciscans to venture over to Nick's place, when you get a chance, for a great reasonably priced massage.

04/20/09 It was very comfortable when I walked in. Nick seemed a little shy, usually massage therapists from these sites have bigger personalities. He is way hotter than his picture. I had booked only an hour earlier, and we got right to work. I needed some real focus on a badly tightened lower back. He did a great job and was very resposnive to my needs in terms of pressure. He played bossanova durning the massage which is such a nice change from the usual new age elevator music. I would highly recommend him and will go back.
