Friends had highly recommended Michael, so I set up an appt with him. His studio is easy to find, and he greeted me at the gate and guided me back to a softly lit space with relaxing music and a large sturdy table. Michael used his hands to scan me from head to toe to find any unevenness in my spine or tight spots before putting me on his table and getting to work. He then proceeded to give me the best sports massage I've ever had. He is gifted with enormous intuition, and was able to find and work out tight spots I didn't know existed. As a bodybuilder, I find few massage therapists who are able to really dig in and manipulate the muscle and loosen it up the way Michael was able to. He was amazingly thorough-focusing on often ignored tight spots in the groin where muscles meet, as well as on the hands, feet & cranium. He left me feeling like a new man-I left without any of the tightness & tension with which I'd entered. I'd highly recommend Michael for anyone needing a professional deep tissues sport massage.

As a personal fitness trainer and lifestyle coach in Palm Springs, CA....I rarely have the opportunity to avail myself of a massage on a regular basis, due to my often full and changing schedule. I recently had an opportunity to schedule a first time appointment with Michael, and now fully realize and greatly appreciate my good fortune in having done so! My words alone will never be able to describe my experience with Michael's obviously vast knowledge base in various massage techniques...he is a true and sincere professional, well versed and educated 'above and beyond' what is required, however, it is his quiet grace, his connection to each individual, his naturally loving concern for others...and his unconditional acceptance of what and who is before him that has impressed me beyond any expectations I may have had. My experience with Michael, under his strong and knowing hands....is now something I consider a beautiful gift I was given by the Universe....and at the perfect moment in my life! He was able to both uncover and resolve stress points and pain issues that have been a part of my body, my being...unlike any other massage therapist. Michael didn't just 'work with me' in this resolve...rather, I prefer to call him a 'healer', who intuited so much about my physical and emotional state...guiding me to release old and new stress trapped within my body...as well as some as allowing me to just 'be me' while under his amazing touch. Under that touch, I was also able to be in touch with myself in a completely new and beautiful way, be more present and emotionally available to my fellow humans on a daily basis. Eureka! No, I haven’t found gold. But I have found a licensed massage therapist worth his weight in gold! His name is Michael. And he is a sensitive, experienced, well-trained therapist who left me both relaxed and energized. Before I retired and moved to Palm Springs, I had a great therapist whose deep tissue massages were admittedly sometimes slightly painful as he work his fingers and elbows into trigger points; but I felt wonderful and relaxed afterwards. Since I have lived in Palm Springs I have had perhaps five or six massages by several different therapists. In each case I felt like I had received a body rub rather than a deep tissue massage. Michael’s massage took me back in time! Always aware of how much pressure he was applying, he moved from trigger point to trigger point with long, deep, penetrating strokes as he moved from my neck and shoulders down to my feet. When he finished, I hadn’t felt as relaxed and energized in years. Michael is a sensitive, effective, well-trained, and experienced licensed massage therapist. I recommend him without reservation or hesitation.

I chose to call this particular masseur's ad because I actually found it intriguing and found his photo to ooze confidence with his fit body. I telephoned, left a message, and he responded with a telephone message back to me. He telephoned me again about two hours later, as I had not returned his response to my initial call. I found this enticing that he took the time and initiantive to make a 2nd call to follow-up on my original call, thus, I scheduled an evening appointment with him. I arrived at his courtyard apartment complex and was greeted at the entrance by the masseur. Like the other comments, once inside his nice clean apartment living room, I took off my clothes, as did he, and with touch he examined my body. I suppose he might have been surprised as I am almost 6'5". He was probably wondering if there was an end to my body!! Anyway, it was actually a very nice pleasant experience. Once on the massage table, his magical hands actually did their work. I was amazed at how thorough of a massage he was providing and even more importantly how he was able to keep up a perfect sense of flowing motion over the whole body. The massage table was comfortable, the music was perfect, and the massage was extraordinary. I have to say that I was truly amazed and impressed with his massage abillities and his desire to make me relaxed, happy and content. He was not rushed in the least (and neither was I). Matter of fact, I had not noticed the time until after I left and was surprised at the length of time I had spent after the massage was over having an enjoyable conversation with him. This is the "morning after"...I double checked in the mirror and find that from last nights massage experience my lips still have a smile and my body still has a glow. How could one ask for more!

I receive a massage almost every week for the last 20 years in the US and Europe. Michael is one of the best. I am so glad I found him when I moved to Palm Springs. He is a healer. His touch is great. If I want sex I hire an escort, if I want a healing massage I use Michael. I hope this review helps people looking for a good massage. It is the first time I have ever written a review – but I read them for advice. So my advice if you are looking for healer who doesn’t cause pain by going deep – use Michael and I am sure you will really enjoy it.

I recommend Michael whole heartedly. His intuitive touch works wonders on aching muscles and soothes the most stressed nerves. Micheal was very prompt to respond to my phone call/ email . Very easy to find since he is just off the main drag going into downtwon Palm Springs. Micheal put me at ease from the moment that i walked into his apartment. He had me stand up as he did his initial work to size up my body. This was interesting, but it was almost as if he were going to bless me. The massage was strong and somtimes soft. How do you explain the gift of touch? He has it. He was very much aware that I had knots and he worked real hard to get them out. I was sad to see the massage end because I enjoyed the time with this man. The massage was great, but I also really liked this guy. And I felt that he was trying to give me something from inside as he touched the body on the outside. I will want to see him next year.

It is my pleasure and honor to submit this review of Michael. He warmly greeted me, and after disrobing we began with breathwork. This set any and all anxieties aside, and I felt completely at-ease with Michael. I knew, immediately, that he was intentional about creating a safe and sacred space. Once the massage began it was obvious I was in the hands of a skilled and intuitive craftsman. Michael is well-versed in various techniques and uses his wealth of knowledge to provide a tailored-to-the-client massage. I was 'transported' mentally/emotionally/physically/spiritually' to another place. The depth of caring and compassion behind each massage stroke was a gift in and of itself. Michael was 'present' in the most affirming ways possible throughout the appointment. It was apparent that he loves what he does. Michael used just the right amount of lotion/oil. He checked-in, frequently, to make sure the pressure applied with to my liking. All-in-all, I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend a massage from Michael. He is one of the few who understands that massage is more than an appointment; it an experience shared and treasured.

I’m pleased to write this review about Mike’s services. Today is the “morning after” I had a fantastic, therapeutic massage from Mike. I called him to let him know that I had a pulled muscle that was painful, and that I had some knot in my shoulder blade that restricted shoulder movement, and he already knew he’d be able to help me. I was truly in a lot of pain when I arrived, but it didn’t take long for him to give me major relief. This morning I feel so much better, too. There was such a relaxing atmosphere throughout the session, and Mike was so intuitive to my needs and I even felt pampered. I lost sense of time, and Mike was no clock-watcher – his aim was to provide professional therapy, and he succeeded with me. I’ve had quite a few massages over the years by different masseurs, but this experience definitely was so superior. I can’t wait to return to feel his warm, at times even tender, touches all over my body. I also suffer from sinus problems, so it was a surprise that he was able to give me some relief in that area as well – something I hadn’t expected. Thumbs up to Mike. He has a caring and friendly personality, and I can only highly recommend him for a unique massage experience. Thanks, Mike! I’ll be back. - Grant

Mike started with some breathing exercieses and then he laid me ont he tabel and gave me a sprots massage. It was very deep and thorough and it felt very good. Mike was very kind and gentle. He made me feel welcome in his place, and it was nice and the temperature of the room was perfect. He was concerned with my comfort and expressed it.
Thank you for the kind words. While this client benefited greatly from the sports and deep tissue techniques, I also used a multiplicity of massage techniques which enhanced the entire experience.
