ABOUT THE MASSAGE
My name sounds like "Heffay" (I grew up in New Mexico) I'm known for my deep, strong and focused work yet my touch feels very sensitive and intuitive....there you have "The Velvet Hammer" as one of my clients began to nickname me years ago! I'm actually quiet unless spoken to as part of the training I received in massage school!....one must never intrude on someone's massage experience!
I'm 6', 180# and have strong warm hands with the strength to provide nurturing, well rounded and complete massage. My pressure is deep, smooth, connected, and thorough with a sensitive approach. I bring over 23 years of massage experience to my world class bodywork. On staff at 10,000 Waves in Santa Fe, New Mexico for almost 10 years and also had a great time working briefly for Carapan in New York City. Located on Harrison Street at 21rst street in a warm, inviting, comfortable and upscale setting with a full bath, private entrance and casual easy parking. Generally I have a pretty flexible schedule Monday through Friday (Weekends as well at times) I am flexible so don't hesitate to request a time that works for you.

12/31/09 I no longer live in San Francisco so each time I visit I make time for Jefe and his great strong hand massage. I have used his massage service many times and have never been disappinted. He is simply the best there is in San Francisco. I wish he was in Phoenix where I now live. His massage is intuitive and he knows the body musculature so well that you do not even have to tell him where you need work...he can tell with his magic hands when he beings to rub you down and relax your body and release the pent up tension. I was in a hurry this time and he worked me in. He has an awesome studio...very relaxing and comfortable...the shower is right there and easy to shower and be on my way....can't wait to see him again when i am back in february. Jerry

06/15/09 I put an ad on Craig's List looking for a masseur and Jefe answered it. He told me that he could do everything I mentioned in my ad and that he would be free in the afternoon for a session. We arranged a time and I showed up on schedule. Jefe met me at the door with a friendly smile and welcoming spirit. He showed me his studio and soon enough I was on his table. While giving me a wonderful massage he checked in with me from time to time and it was fantastic. I highly recommend him as he is truly a great guy and a super masseur.

04/08/09 For a long time, I have yearned to experience a massage by "The Velvet Hand"- Jefe. Two days ago I I had this desire fulfilled. I arranged the appointment via phone to which Jefe thanked me upon my leaving his session. I arrived at the appointed time and received from Jefe what I should do in preparation for the massage. I lay in his warm and tastefully done studio and succumbed in bliss to what he rendered. This certificated massage therapist knew exactly what to do in rejuvenating as well as revigorating my tightness. He used a variety of modalities to fulfill this, and today, two days later- I still feel relaxed and lithe. I am truly fortunate to have been able in seeing Jefe, a rather quiet and mild-mannered and adept individual who has been booked at varying times when I'd desired to see him; I do hope to continue to have massages from him. 03/26/09 Jefe is simply the best masseur in San Francisco. I should know-I've been going to see him for at least 6-8 years, and I've tried a good share of the others on this site, but keep going back to Jefe. Jefe is pretty hunky, sure. But what he really provides is the most thorough, most technically proficient, most thoroughly relaxing and therapeutic massage I've ever had anywhere. Top that off with a beautiful, warm studio separate from his home (his loft is upstairs) and you've got a great package. There have been times when I had hurt my back and went to see Jefe and he had me walking out pain free. When I'm feeling truly indulgent, I ask for his 90 minute sensual combo, which gives me all the therapeutic benefits with a nice sensual edge throughout the massage. It's heaven. I'm not in the shape I once was, but never any attitude from Jefe, he's a true professional. In these days where we're all watching our dollars, why not spend them on the very best? There is no one I could recommend any more highly.

07/31/08 Originally had set up time for Tuesday but due to last minute changes in schedule - call him and we changed the appointment with no problems. Upon entering his place he showed me where the bathroom ws and offered for me to take a shower if needed and where to hang my clothes etc. I had already explained to him through emails where I had injury and when we started even though no pain was there from the injury he took extra care of that area. Told me about the pressure he would be applying and if I needed it changed to let him know. Very enjoyable massage and definitely will going back. This is the needle in the haystack - everyone should find it.
