ABOUT THE MASSAGE
I give a thorough full-body massage using varieties of pressure. I mix techniques from both Eastern and Western traditions, as well as sports massage. I have over 1000 hours of formal training and I've been in private practice for 3 years. I have big strong hands and my specialty is male massage therapy. I assess each individual and work with you to develop a session that is comfortable, therapeutic and relaxing. I offer a well-appointed surrounding that is both pleasing and soothing. I work with a variety of people - including those who seek relief from a specific issue, those who desire the benefits of long-term massage therapy and those who are preparing or recovering from sporting events. 07/04/10 I love coming to Leon for massages! I’ve been a regular client for nearly a year now. He always takes the time to chat with me pre-massage to ask me what my expectations are for my session, he checks in to see if I have any problem areas that need special attention, and he always manages to work out my legendary knotted shoulder muscles. I called him yesterday (at the last minute) to see if he had any availability for that afternoon. He had one afternoon slot open and I took it. I requested a 90 minute Zen Shiatsu massage. Leon is one of the very few Shiatsu practitioners that still does this bodywork on a mat on the floor. It was totally blissful and very relaxing. I love his technique and he knows what he's doing. Leon’s studio isn’t as fancy as Burke Williams, but I don’t care. Burke Williams was too crowded for my tastes. I spend money at these places for one reason—to get an awesome massage. Leon's rates are excellent and he never disappoints.

06/13/10 I travel to San Francisco (monthly) for work and I came across Leon's profile through a weekly special he was running. It took a day or two for me to get my return call, but when I finally did, he was very gracious, very kind, and I got the sense he knew what he was doing. I booked the Hawaiian Lomilomi massage. Upon arriving at my appt, Leon was very thorough in assessing my needs, gave me a quick health intake, and laid out what he planned for my session. Leon was attentive to my needs in every way-from the temperature of the room to the pressure I desired, he saw to it all. The bodywork was incredible. The minute he laid his hands on me, I knew I was in good hands. I was amazed that his firm pressure was consistent throughout the entire massage and when he found areas of tension, he took his time to work through them. Leon definitely took care of me and highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a great massage.

03/21/10 Best deal in town!! Leon's been my massage therapist for a few months now and I have never been disappointed. He is top knotch and is all about customer service-just there to serve you. I've referred more than a handful of friends and all of them have THANKED me! Make sure to be specific when you make your appointment. If you want a deep massage (like I usually do) that is what you will get. Leon has a warm touch with amazing force. I always feel like a wet noodle when I leave. He also offers relaxing, therapeutic massages, hot stone, shiatsu, and more. The atmosphere is very relaxing, soothing and comfortable. I had my massage yesterday and I still feel like a million bucks (plus interest). And it certainly doenst hurt that Leon is very nice to look at.

03/15/10 I'm very picky when it comes to massage and I like to ask the therapist a lot of questions before I book. This was also my first time using MassageM4M. I called this morning on the off chance Leon might have an opening this afternoon. Leon returned my call within the hour and the first thing I noted was his pleasant professionalism. After chatting for 15 min or so, I realized I was going to get a great massage from this guy-so I booked a 2pm. I was greeted in the waiting area and I completed my health intake forms. We reviewed my forms as he did my assessment. He gave me his recommendations for the session and asked my permission to proceed. Leon has strong yet gentle hands that completely relax you. His touch is amazing! Immediately I felt this guy knew what he was doing. His strokes were fluid and his firm pressure was even and steady throughout the entire massage. The environment is very relaxing; warm room, soft music, clean, comfortable table, extra pillows for your knees and neck, even an eye mask! Leon listens to you and your needs carefully before the session and adjusts the massage based on your feedback. He is very polite, very caring. He makes his clients comfortable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go here for massage again!

03/11/10 Leon is an angel. He is very nice looking, professional, has a great massage space, and have enjoyed his massages immensely. Actually, I have been twice and need to go again soon. Leon is also extremely reasonably priced. I wish there were more like him in San Francisco.

- Leon is a graduate of the National Holistic Institute, College of Massage Therapy, in 2009. An accredited degree program that included Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology, Shiatsu, Swedish, Sports, Trigger Point and Deep Tissue courses. He also holds certifications from the Healing Arts Institute as a Lomi Lomi Practitioner. His credentials have been certified by the California Massage Therapy Council and is a member with the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals
