About David's Massage
I am an intuitive and skilled spiritual counselor, bodyworker, sacred intimate, and healer who has been studying and giving bodywork privately since 1979, professionally off and on since 2003. Touch is a spiritual practice for me -- affirming the unity of spirit and body, using a range of modalities and modes of communication to celebrate the wholeness of self and the sacred, erotic potential of the body.
I receive a lot of bodywork (as everyone should), and every modality I encounter informs my work. All the good stuff (I hope!) gets integrated into my own personal style of touch. You'll recognize elements of Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, Body Electric, and Lomi Lomi for sure, and I couldn't begin to tell you what all else has snuck in over the years. (Very open to doing exchanges with other bodyworkers!)
I work happily with folks of all ages, races, genders, and body types. I am fully FTM-approved and certified :-).
When there is touch, I work on a table, primarily using pure fractionated coconut oil, which is good for your skin, washes out of fabric, and is almost entirely without scent. I believe in full body massage as an essential element of holistic healing and health maintenance. Inevitably, all engagement on this level is therapeutic, sensual, and erotic. It can be soothing or adventurous or ecstatic, or all three (and more). During our time together, you decide where and if you want to receive touch and where or if you don't. You choose the degree to which you stay clothed/draped or not -- just choose whatever will allow you to feel most fully present and blessed in your body. My keeping my shirt or shorts on is part of my commitment to be present with and for you at every moment.
If you are interested in a Sacred Intimate mode of engagement, I am happy to talk about what you want from our session and how I can help provide that.
I work in my home on the top floor of a shared house in the Inner Sunset. Because the room doubles as my academic and professional study, I pretty much guarantee some books will be lying about. Of course, the linens are always clean. The room will be warm, but extra blankets are available, and the table is equipped with a heating pad. If using a blindfold and/or earplugs will help you let go of the tensions in your life and to relax, I have those on hand, also. My druthers are to play classical music when we work together. Feel free, though, to bring a disc or two of any music you want to hear. Alternatively, ask for no music at all.
One final incentive for in calls: I have the best shower in San Francisco (no boast, just a fact) which you are welcome to use before, after or, during our session. I ask only that you arrive at the table recently showered, whether at your place or mine. If you are interested in any kind of internal touch (prostate touch, for example), please do a light cleansing before we begin.
When traveling outside San Francisco, I don't bring a table, but use either a bed or padded floor for touch work. I've gotten very adept at working this way; you won't be disappointed.
Until I get to know you well, I will solicit your feedback often during the session. We can converse or maintain quiet otherwise, whatever ensures you the best experience possible. The session begins and concludes with a moment of blessing for your physical self and your life, and I'm pretty confident you'll feel the joy in both body and spirit.
Calls accepted between 9am and 10pm only. Initial calls can be made with a blocked caller ID, but eventually I will need a callback number from you to confirm our appointment time. I do take late night appointments, but after 9pm, please text me (as opposed to calling) as a first mode of contact.
What I ultimately guarantee is a spiritual connection with you. Any money that is exchanged or that we discuss exchanging is strictly for the time I promise to be fully present for you, regardless of how we choose to use the time. Some clients ask for a session composed primarily of speech or meditation. Other clients want to begin immediately a greater level of physical engagement. The way we spend the time is up to us. The cost is determined purely according to the length of our session.
Policies regarding money:
Anytime outside the city of San Francisco): I need to add $25 to my usual rates.
For out-calls (anywhere), if substantial additional transportation costs or time are involved, we'll need to factor that into the cost of our session.
In response to a number of inquiries (and this is true for any healer you ever see): If a session, with your permission, goes overtime, or is especially meaningful to you, yes, it is fully appropriate to offer a gratuity. However, you're only responsible for paying for the length of time we agree on before the session begins.
Thanks and blessings!
David
A pleasure. Glad to share the time, the shower, AND the plums (I need to start preserving some for the *off* season, though!). Blessings!!
