ABOUT THE MASSAGE
My sessions consist of a nurturing touch as well as focused deep tissue strokes and vibrational yoga like stretches which will leave you feeling integrated, deeply aware and whole. I am committed to listening and working with you to understand your needs and assist you in feeling better. The alleviation of pain, bringing about better posture, increased flexibility and fluid movement are all goals that I hope to achieve for my clients. I listen to my clients and use a assortment of strokes and massage moves, stretching and breathing techniques to relax the body while stimulating your senses. My touch is strong and caring, sensual and therapeutic: allowing you to build a connection of trust and awareness.
I offer you a clean, private, space with a professional massage table, clean linens, soft music and subdued lighting to unwind from a stressful day and let go of muscle tension, worries and emotional blocks. A private bathroom with a shower and clean towels are provided as well as hot towels at the end of your session. I am certified with the State Of California #16289 and have over 800 hours of training and 3 years experience in the field of massage.
I offer appointments at my studio 7 days a week from 10 in the morning to 10 at night in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco blocks away from BART/MUNI and access to public and street parking. If you are visiting San Francisco and don't want to deal with a spa or expensive hotel, massage service; with its long waits, give my session a try. I accept last minute and late night appointments. 04/05/12 Micheal was very easy to schedule with. I arrived in the evening at his studio, and was early. I buzzed his place, and he was very gracious. He showed me up to his studio, which was nice, warm, comfortable, and well-lighted. He had relaxing music on and the heat at a perfect temperature. He asked thoughtful questions about where I might be carrying tension. After I laid on the table, he was very attentive about the pressure of the massage; Micheal was very intuitive and had a professional touch. He found some places on my body that were more tense than I even thought they were. I was so relaxed during and after the massage, he is very talented. I will be back!

03/22/12 Micheal gives an excellent massage, varying the deepness and intensity. He has very strong but gentle hands and a great ability to focus in on those tight knots that need his attention. Micheal's place was conveniently located, clean, comfortable, relaxing, and warm. This was my first time on Micheal's table and I look forward to returning. I have had many massages (so I know when I have found a good masseur). I am always leery to try someone new, but Micheal was a very good choice.

03/11/12 I contacted Michael for a same day appointment and he promptly replied back letting me know his availability for that day. The appointment was made with minimal effort, which is very important to me. I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by a warm tranquil setting with soothing music. This was my first massage with Michael so we briefly talked about my needs and expectations. I was given private time to prepare for my massage. Once the massage started I was transported further in to tranquility. Michael's touch was strong and deliberate. He worked all the right places. Once my session was over, my entire body felt revived. I am already looking forward to my next massage with Michael.

02/04/12 I really enjoyed my massage from Michael especially with my body in constant need of deep strong pressure which happens when you work out all the time. The first time I visited Michael, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place and a very soothing music that he chose, he even gave me a bottle of water as every masseur should because your body will be dehydrated after massage session. The second visit (yes, I came back for more), I asked him to put more pressure on my body as I like it really deep to make me feel enough pressure, he did what I asked him to and I left his place felt so good. I recommend him, writing this review makes me want to get another session with Michael.

01/27/12 Great massage! I was sore all over my body from the gym and he worked out every sore muscle! He was very welcoming and his table and workspace were very comfortable. He asked me what was sore and what I wanted worked on before we started and he was very attentive in those areas.

- Micheal has had a private massage practice in San Francisco since the beginning of 2010. His foundation in massage started at The World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts where he graduated and successfully completed a 700 hour Professional Massage Therapy Program. He has continued to pursue an understanding of massage by taking classes and attending workshops at the San Francisco School of Massage to keep his skills sharp and his practice up to date in the latest massage techniques.
