I feel massage is vitally important in restoring and maintaining a healthy mind, body, spirit and emotional balance. That's why I've been receiving massages on a regular basis for 20 years. I honestly believe it has improved my life significantly. That's why I do what I do. I feel honored and blessed to bring this experience to you.
I offer a unique blend of deep tissue, acupressure and energy work tailored specifically to your body's needs. I have a very intuitive touch and take the time to tune in to your body to assess how I can best facilitate the healing process.
Many clients have told me that I have helped heal chronic pain and other problems on mental and emotional levels as well.
I also incorporate a light, sensual, caressing touch and gentle stretching in my sessions. In addition to being pleasurable, it helps the body integrate the deeper work more effectively.
Each body is unique; therefore, every session is unique. It's all about YOU.

06/08/09 Its been a great pleasure having Giovanni as my regular massage therapist. He is very professional , and his massage place is nice , warm , clean and inviting. He has been giving me deep tissue massages for sometime now and I always go back to him. In a city where there is no shortage of masseurs , he is absolutely the best I have had a massage from. I always leave refreshed and invigorated after getting a massage from him.

06/07/09 I had a wonderful session with Giovanni - actually I met him previously as we are in the same general neighborhood and was looking forward to experiencing a massage from him. I was long overdue for one and I have to say he exceeded all expectations I had. He lead me to his cosy and comfortable massage space and asked me some basic questions about my body to customize the session. He was warm and welcoming and put me at ease. His many years of experience really shine through in his body work . Working on many muscle groups simultaneously and using sweeping moves encompassing the length of my body, firm work where needed and stretching - all very thorough, unrushed and done with great care. I left feeling completely relaxed but invigorated at the same time. Giovanni is a super nice guy, very focused and I look forward to be under his talented hands again real soon. As a side note I enjoyed the music he put on for the session too, to my surprise as I found out later it was some of his own - beautiful!

12/16/08 I've just returned from my third massage with Giovanni. He has always responded to my calls within 30 minutes, and given me an appointment the same day. Right off the bat, Giovanni is a very likeable guy. He's both calm and assured in his demeanor and in his massage technique. I was comfortable with him right away. The massages I've received from him have been strong, artful and very enjoyable. I always leave in a state of bliss, looking forward to my next visit. He asks about your general condition before starting and listens to anything you have to say. His massage room is inviting and comfortable and the soft music adds to the enjoyment. He works in a caring, dedicated manner. I think his approach to massage is both insightful and instinctive and I look forward to more visits with him. Oh yeah, he's pretty dreamy, too.

10/11/08 I phoned Giovanni to see if he could take me today, and I was fortunate that he could take me just an hour or so later. I've got chronic low back pain due to herniated discs and a week-long business trip had me pretty tight in my lower back. I liked his website and also realized that he lives only a few blocks from my house, so that was an added bonus. I arrived on time and he was ready for me with a nice warm room, comfortable massage table, candles and music, and a glass of water. The setting was peaceful and quiet. His website mentioned that he is intuitive, and that is definitely true. He knew exactly what do do to help ease my tight muscles and stretch me out. Some massage therapists seem to just go through their 'routine' regardless of the client. Giovanni paid very close attention to my body, and spent the needed time on the areas that needed the most attention. Giovanni definitely exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to my next massage with him. He's a really handsome guy too :-)

09/22/08 I called Giovanni on a Saturday morning to check on times, and he took me just a few hours later. He has a separate room devoted to massage with music, candles and a heated massage table. In short, it was EXCELLENT! Giovanni really cared about how the massage made me feel. He asked about injuries. He adjusted the temperature in the room. He paid particular attention to the knots in my back. This was a great experience. I will return.

09/22/08 I have had 6 massages by Giovanni and each time they get better and better. I have been getting massages for years and he is the best I have ever had. He is very intuitive with his touch and knows the perfect pressure to use. He incorporates different types of massage in his time with me including swedish, deep tissue, and stretching. He can release weeks of stress in a matter of minutes. He is very friendly with a great sense of humor but not chatty unless I want to be. After time with him, I glow for at least 3 days and stay relaxed. I highly recommend Giovanni.

09/19/08 I had had massages with other massage therapists but I decided to try Giovanni because I liked what he said on his website. I made the appointment via email, and he was very good about contacting me to confirm. He lives in a very nice apartment and his massage studio/room is warm, inviting, comfortanle. Everything was clean. There was relaxing music and candles. We had established through our email correspondence what I wanted, so we went into the session with a mutual understanding. I told Giovanni he could work unclothed, and he seemed comfortable with that. The therapeutic massage was great. He told me when and how to breathe when the particular work he was doing required it. I had gone to the gym that morning and done my upper body strength training work and thus was a bit sore, but by the time I left all that soreness was gone. During the session we made a bit of light conversation, and I found him to be warm, outgoing, humorous-no "attitude" at all. At the end of the session he put an eye pillow over my eyes and warm towels where it was most useful, and he encouraged me to just lie there and relax a while. After the session, as I was getting dressed, we engaged in more light talk, and I found it to be a nice way to end our time together. I highly recommend Giovanni and I intend to return to him again!

08/10/08 I have seen Giovanni many times over the last few years. He is an excellent masseur, very respectful and intuitive with strong hands. Giovanni is very sweet and gentle, but he also applies firm pressure if that is what you want. He checks in frequently to make sure you are doing okay but not so much that it is annoying. He has a very warm spirit and a wonderful smile. On top of it all, Giovanni is very handsome and a pleasure to be around. I will definitely see him again.

08/10/08 Giovanni is very accommodating with appointment times. I called in the morning and he offered a time available that afternoon. On the phone, his voice is kind and reassuring. Upon arriving at his studio, a glass of water and a warm table welcomed me. I described my trouble areas and he began the massage by gently touching by back and legs to assess for himself. Giovanni spent plenty of time working out the kinks in my neck, shoulders and back. His work is deep and multifaceted and his gentle, firm stretches revitalized my legs. He ended the massage with a compact covering my eyes and an invitation to relax. I arrived tense and tired and left reinvigorated and ready revel.

08/04/08 Giovanni's bodywork is awesome - I have been having sessions with him whenever business brings me to the Bay area for the past few years, and my experience with him is consistently great. He responds to email or phone messages right away - responsive, flexible, and very easy to set up sessions. His bodywork is highly intuitive and he's very good at it - I'm an experienced massage aficionado and know that he blends expertise in a range of styles with his deep sense of what is wanted/needed - he works physically, energentically, and sensuously. Prior to this session, I had had a shoulder injury, and he did deep muscle work up and down my body to get at the root of it. Giovanni is one of the few massage therapists that I've stuck with over a long period of time - I highly recommend him.

07/23/08 Giovanni does a fantastic massage. He definitely incorporates some energy work in the process and I've felt completely relaxed and recharged at the same time after a session (I've been twice). He found the knots I didn't know I had - you can sense where he is about to apply pressure seconds before he does, and its the exact spot that's been tightening up on you for weeks. The first time I met Giovanni I was jetlagged from a business trip to Europe and went the day I flew home - AWESOME! Tonight I was just tense from several hectic weeks at the office and needed to unwind and get the knots worked out. His space has an amazing welcoming energy - a perfect retreat at the end of a long day. I recommend and will go back...

05/31/08 This is my second visit to Giovanni and he is one of the best masseurs I have ever had. Giovanni is excellent and has helped alleviate the tightness throughout my entire body. He uses his entire body and strength to complete the massage. With some recent arthritis in one ankle, he intuitively knew how to work the ankle and it was amazing the difference after the massage. He is a caring gentle man with highly skilled hands, which is reflective in his work. I will continue to visit him on a routine basis. He definitely delivers with his skills!

05/09/08 I've had several massages with Giovanni, and each one gets better. Giovanni blends Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Reiki quite artfully, and I always leave the massage in a blissful state. Since many of us live lives that are at times stressful and hectic, having a skilled bodyworker like Giovanni is essential to keeping healthy and centered. I highly recommend him if you are in need of an excellent massage.

04/03/08 Giovanni is a wonderfully sensitive and delightful masseur. I see Giovanni on a regular basis for massage. I first began seeing him about 6 months ago when my regular masseur of 5 years was unavailable. First of all, his studio is easy to find and there is always ample street parking - a big plus! From the moment you enter his home he makes you feel welcome and comfortable. His massage technique and form are top notch. I feel very free to communicate my changing body needs and he is very responsive to my feedback. Between his strong hands and his melodic voice he lulls you into a state of total relaxation. For days afterwards my body feels energized. I would highly recommend Giovanni - your sore muscles will thank you.

03/19/08 I went to Giovanni because my back was so tense, I needed someone that really studied massage and was strong. I explained to him that my rhomboids and traps were so tense that I did not have full motion in my neck and arms. OOOh boy, did he get in there! My major complaint is that massage therapist do not know anatomy, and cannot vary their intensity on certain trigger points—Giovanni does not have this problem and does know how to work out knots and spasms. He is equally as gentle when a relaxing massage is needed. I am a repeat customer.

02/04/08 I visit San Francisco once or twice a year. I always schedule a massage with Giovanni when I am there. Giovanni is an attractive, strong man with a kind, loving spirit. He gives an excellent massage. He is never rushed and always takes his time to make sure the massage is enjoyable. When I leave I am relaxed and feel and certain kind of inner peace. I am not certain why I feel that way but I have learned just to enjoy it and go back for more whenever I can. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good massage.

07/23/07 I made an appointmnet by checking out this site to work with GIovanni.I had some special needs as I had had some majoy surgery 3 weeks ago and I couldn't lay on my stomach. He was careful and tender with me yet worked out all of the kinks in my body. As his and work my muscles I could feel the movemeont of engery and the knots disappear ..at time I drifted off to sleep. Giovanni is a very tallented masseur and I would recommend him to anyone...The environment felt safe,clean andblissful. I will use him again inthe futre

07/23/07 Giovanni has that special 'intuitive' sense you would want in a good masseur. He can empathise with your situation and needs and deliver. His approach is eclectic and thus is tailored to what your body is telling him. Along with this sensitivity, Giovanni has height and the physical strength and control of that strength to provide the most responsive of massages. The environment he provides is relaxing and safe and prfessional. The end result is a satisfied customer (me!). I have returned several times and recommend him highly.
