ABOUT THE MASSAGE
MY APPROACH
The experience that I want you to have is one that is truly holistic in nature: that is deeply relaxing for your body by way of breathwork, holding, and excellent, trained, highly skilled muscle work; that is nurturing, loving, and respectfully intimate; that honors our common human desire for closeness and connection in a way that is genuine, tender, and not contrived; that is calming, grounding, and centering on all levels of the body, mind, and spirit.
SESSION LENGTHS AND RATES
Long sessions of 3 hours are my specialty, and these are what I schedule with most men, both as new and returning clients. I recommend this length of session for new clients, in particular, as it allows me the time to work the entire body very slowly and thoroughly, and to incorporate into the session without any rush the breathwork, holding, and tender, nurturing touch that I think make for a much more complete, grounding, holistic experience.
I believe in allowing every session with every client to be a unique experience. I do not take a cookie-cutter or assembly-line approach to bodywork, and I am always open to planning our time together as we see fit or simply allowing the session to flow organically. The outlines below serve to illustrate the general flow taken by most sessions of each length.

STUDIO SETUP
I'm fortunate to have a very warm, calming, dedicated work space in the lower level of my home. Beautiful music, warm flannel linens, and soft candle light set a gentle, relaxed backdrop for our session. I work on a very plush, heated, extra-wide massage table and use only the finest quality Biotone massage lotion, which absorbs very nicely into as it moisturizes the skin.
STUDIO LOCATION
My private studio is located just off the Beltway at Connecticut Ave., within easy reach of MD, DC, and VA by way of Connecticut, Georgia, 495, or 16th St. For those traveling without a car, I am happy to provide transportation to and from the metro on the red line at either the Forest Glen or the Grosvenor-Strathmore station.
SCHEDULING
I kindly ask that new clients please contact me first via email, rather than by phone or text. In your message, please be sure to also include both your name and your cell phone number, as well as your preferred method of contact. You may rest assured that this information is kept private and is seen only by me.
Especially for those of you traveling from out of town, it is best to provide me with as much notice as you comfortably can. Given the growing number of happy clients that I am privileged to see on a regular basis, my schedule has a tendency to fill up in advance.
I go out of my way to be accommodating of all scheduling requests, so please do not be shy about contacting me, even on short notice. Cancellations and last-minute schedule changes do sometimes occur, so same-day and next-day requests are always welcomed.

06/28/11 Before my massage with David, I had never had a 'sensual' massage...I enjoyed regular massages but since I was vacationing in Washington DC I thought I would treat myself to this and David's ad sounded unique among all of the other 'sensual massage' ads on this site. I was extremely happy with my choice. It took several phone calls back and forth (between us) to coordinate the time/day and how I would arrive at his home, and each time he called me and left me a v/m he was extremely patient, articulate and professional. This truly impressed me. He picked me up at the Metro station and drove me to his beautiful, clean and comfortable home...all of the time making me feel non-rushed and allowed to 'ease' into the experience. David is just as attractive and engaging in person as his photo & listing is. In fact, this made me a bit nervous at the beginning of our time together - but my self consciousness faded away once I got to talk to him and realized how down-to-earth and 'real' he was. The area he has in his home for massages is just lovely: lots of candles, soft carpeting, a comfortable couch & table, a small private bathroom and a very crisp sound system with an amazing selection of music throughout the massage. I'm sort of a music snob, so this little detail was truly appreciated. :) Overall, the holding / breathwork / touching aspect of my session was what we focused on for my session. I had, previous to this session, done Cranial Sacral massages and during those I had experienced a strong emotional release. I told David about this (he reassured me that I was not alone in this) and in our session together I experienced many of the same emotions, even a bit stronger. It felt incredibly freeing and a bit scary at first, but David knows what he is doing and within minutes I felt quickly nurtured and very secure. He has a wonderful touch - I don't think I've ever been held by someone like this and I would say I'm an 'affectionate' person myself. He ran over the allotted time I’d scheduled and yet he continued my session, which wowed me. I can't say enough. This massage changed not only the way that I think about my emotions, and the way that I realize I 'store' emotions in my body, but it also changed the way I think about massages. In my mind now, I will compare all future massages to this session with David. Really, he’s that good. I am incredibly grateful to have been led to David and I am eagerly awaiting the chance to travel back to DC for another session.

05/17/11 Chances are if you're read up to here, you're already interested in booking a session with David. I know this because that's how I felt and am so glad I went ahead and finally did it. David puts you at ease from his first communication. It was clear from the beginning that he is intelligent, respectful and accommodating. After providing detailed directions to his place, I was welcomed into his studio which is spacious and welcoming. From the first touch, I knew that I was in for something amazing. He really took the time in the beginning to get to know me and vice versa, demonstrating that he really cares about his clients. Then through holding and breathing in unison, he made sure I was completely relaxed before proceeding with the bodywork. Starting with the back side of my body, he was attentive to my therapeutic needs while always stimulating my sensual needs. Continuing with the front, he created sensations I had never experienced before. All throughout the session, he reinforced the feeling of intimacy through touch, which is something I had never felt in this way and made me wish that it would never end. By the end, our session together confirmed everything that I had initially thought about him: intelligent by his insight and eloquence, respectful by treating me like an old friend, and accommodating by always making me the priority during our time together. 01/13/11 If you have ever wanted a unique experience that exceeds your expectations as to what a massage could be, you have got to book a session with David. I found him tender, loving and surprisingly genuine in his desire to nurture, not only in person, but even upon our initial contact. During our time together, David was acutely and intuitively in touch with my needs. This allowed me to open up and surrender to what was SO much more than just a massage, but rather an encounter that touched my body, heart & soul. I left our session feeling grounded, centered and exhilarated. In a matter of just a few hours, he had successfully created an experience that was not only fully relaxing, but also deeply meaningful. Needless to say, I didn’t wait long before arranging our next meeting, and I plan on visiting him every time I am in DC. 06/26/10 David is a true healer – both of mind and body. I’ve had 2 sessions with him, and they have both been transformative. He opens the session with a short but heartfelt discussion – it’s a great way to let him know what’s going on and how the session may be most helpful. He does this while rubbing your feet and legs, in a safe, nurturing way that is really soothing. David is very intuitive, and can sense things that are going on with you that you’re not even aware of yourself! For my first session, based on our discussions, he suggested that we include some energy work into our session. While I had never had this done (and have to admit was a bit skeptical), it was extremely powerful, and I felt its healing effects for days. My second session, we combined both energy work as well as physical massage. David has a masterful touch that is relaxing, sensual, healing and restorative, and this combination was incredibly powerful. David is unique in being skilled in both in physical massage, as well as a great healer through energy work and meaningful discussion. I live on the West Coast and have not found anyone like him! (thus I try to see him every time I am in DC) I highly recommend David for someone looking for more than a rub (which he does very well), but rather meaningful, healing connection with a beautiful man.

06/20/10 David was welcoming from our first contact. I had seen him on line for over a year before I chose to actually call and when I did, he got back to me quickly. Usually booked for weeks, he just happened to have an opening the night I called. The Universe made this happen. I had been through what proved to be the highest of highs and the lowest of lows emotionally in the two weeks prior to my appointment. Meeting with David proved to be a caring, emotional and physical awakening for me. He was able to both help me validate my feelings and realize that all I needed was to allow myself to once again feel grounded. His touch, intellect and actual connection were unparalleled. When I left his home, my mind and body were at complete peace and I slept better than I have in months. He made me feel as though the connection we had was predetermined. (He also has me re-reading Melville!) I hope to be able to see him again soon.
