03/05/11 he nmet me at his door, he was great very friendly and a great time was had, very kind very gentle, was visiting from another country and he was good, planning on calling him again when in dc this summer a truly great guy who helped an irishman feel so at home

09/06/10 David is a fantastic masseur. He was very patient in setting up the appointment with me and answering my questions. He answered emails professionally and quickly. Entering his studio, I found it cozy and comfortable. David spent some time talking to me about my massage experiences, what I was looking for from him, and if I had any areas of concern. His table was very comfortable and solid (hate when I'm on one that feels "shaky"). David worked every inch of my body, finding muscles I didn't know I had. His touch was very deep and soothing, and the rare times when it was too much, he immediately reduced the pressure the moment I let him know. While on the table, David was the perfect mix of silence to allow me to relax and talkative to make me feel at ease. Throughout the 90 minutes, we chatted quite a bit, but had periods where no one talked for many minutes as I waivered between very awake/aware and nearly asleep under his soothing hands. David also did some very beneficial stretching and breathing that had me so completely relaxed, I didn't want to leave when my time was up. When I left David, I wasn't sore, but definitely felt like I'd had a good "workout" - and relaxation I gained from his hands seemed to last for days. I will be returning to David, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a relaxing massage with caring, skilled hands.

07/13/10 David absolutely gives the best therapeutic massages by far on this web site!!! I have experienced massages from at least a dozen guys on this site and none compare with David's therapeutic massage. I have longstanding shoulder issues and had surgery on the right one last October. As a result, I had numerous issues relating to the surrounding tissues, muscles, and tendons that didn't like the trauma to the shoulder and decided to tighten up in various uncomfortable ways. I have been to David 6 times over the last 8 or 9 weeks and have definitely improved a lot! He is well trained and knows the body structure very well. Now that he knows my body and I know his touch and have developed a high level of trust in him, he is able to really get in deep to try to get the kinks worked out. He also recommends various stretching exercises to hasten the healing process. He has a nice, clean, room dedicated to massage in his apartment. David is a helluva nice guy who is intelligent and funny and we've kind of developed a friendship over time. He responds to e-mails or phone calls promptly. If you really need serious therapeutic massage therapy, look no more, David is your man! Make sure to click on the link to his web site for more information about David. 04/26/10 I contacted Dave when a business trip that had cancelled got rescheduled. Dave has a conveniently located studio located in him home. He is a big strong guy with strong hands. He told me he's known for having a special expertise in shoulders, and he's absolutely right. I have an old injury that creates an alignment issue that holds incredible amounts of tension, and Dave found all the right ways and places to go after it- and he got out more of my knots and pain than any therapist I've seen in the last 6 years. And he also knows all the right places to touch a guy to make the experience very sensual as well. Thanks, Dave, for a great experience, I'll be back for sure!

11/23/09 David specializes in relief of sciatic, back, leg and skeleto-muscular pain. He provides a very deep (even using elbows and his body weight) manipulation of hard-to-release muscles and tendons, along with breathing exercises that actually increase the range of motion and aid in pain relief. He knows the technical and anatomical reasons behind the pain and uses a variety of techniques to address it. David is dedicated to his clients and gives his all each and every time. He's not just a masseur, he is truly a physical therapist with a proven track record of pain relief. If you've had long-term pain and haven't been able to find someone who can provide a deep and lasting level of relief, then look no further. His strength and body mass provide a deeper level of massage than others (I've tried them all). I had almost given up on any improvement before I came to David, and now I am able to resume activities that I had given up long ago due to pain. He's also very good at working with tough schedules. Great price, great massage, great relief.

- 50 yo 6'1" 250lb classic, very hairy bear with big firm and caring paws that intuitively melt away sore muscles while putting your body and spirit into a state of blissful relaxation. I have 900 hours of training and seven years of full-time experience and licensed in DC, VA and NC.
