11/25/09 I recently had a deep tissue massage with Ty - he is a super talented and professional therapist with an infectious smile. He starts out the session with a warm foot bath while discussing the goals of the session. He then continued with Thai compresses and then used his large hands to give a terrific deep tissue massage. The session ends with heavenly warm towels - overall an excellent experience. Ty is a super nice guy and highly recommend him!

11/11/09 Ty is very professional. His space is "spotless" and very appropriate for massage. As a LMT he definitely knows a lot about massage and how to read his clients needs immediately. He blends swedish and deep tissue with asian and Thai for a truly relaxing and envigorating experience. He starts with a Thai foot cleansing and ends with hot towels ... as if you were in the best spa in Asia. If you are a connoisseur of massage Ty exceed your expectations.

11/08/09 Contacted Ty by email for a last minute appointment before I left town. He was quick to respond, and we quickly settled on the details. He showed up right on time, meticulously prepared his table and set up a soothing environment right there in the hotel! His massage began slowly, gently as he explored the areas that needed the most attention. He then started the real work with a combination of techniques (gentle, firm, stretching) that focused on the greatest areas of need. Ty's approach was not just physical: his presence, conversation, and direction were imbued with spiritual undertones as well. Overall, Ty is a thoroughly professional, intuitive masseur with a delightful personality. I look forward to my next trip there as no matter matter how stressful it might be, Ty will help me unwind physically and spiritually.

09/16/09 Ty is intuitive, healing, and professional. Definitely the best massage I've ever had, including Thai massages in Thailand. He provided great information via email. Also, he was very nice on the phone and asked me questions about my expectations to make sure I understand what he does, and doesn't do. He came to my hotel with a mat for Thai massage, and we talked about areas I would like him to focus on. If you haven't had a Thai massage (or a massage by Ty) you really should check it out. His massage involves varying levels of intensity and deep tissue dimensions, and also stretching and (non sexual) body contact. During my massage Thai was amazingly present, focused on just that moment, and did not rush or act as though he had other thoughts or as though his mind was elsewhere. He seems really comfortable in himself, and makes you feel very grounded and at ease.
