ABOUT THE MASSAGE
I am 37 years old, a classical musician, and a yoga enthusiast. I had a very unique upbringing in terms of massage. Until I moved out of the house I got a back rub every night before bed! Other species on this planet spend plenty of time touching and grooming each other. But we humans are the only mammals on Earth that don't, thanks to our cultural taboos. While I do not advocate the canine approach of greeting someone by sniffing their nearest body part, as a species, we could benefit greatly from some kind of happy medium. In fact, I believe if every person had a massage each day....there would be no war on this planet. And if you have one of my massages, I believe my lifetime of massage experience will be obvious. I approach massage as an exploratory venture instead of a set routine of pushing and prodding patterns. Everyone is put together as differently, so finding out how this is connected to that, or where this tension seems to be anchored, is a different process with each individual. Very often the source of discomfort someone feels is actually the result of a situation nearby of which they are completely unaware. Sometimes our bodies get so used to ongoing tension, we accept it as normal and eventually learn to ignore it(like people who own cuckoo clocks rarely hear them chime the time). The intensity of pressure that I use is up to you, though I try to push the threshold of each client's tolerance, whatever that may be. I provide a drape, but do not require one, as it is with your comfort zone that I am concerned. Unless you are looking for a very localized massage (i.e. legs only, after a long race), I find 60 minutes to be the minimum time to have a therapeutic effect. But even 60 minutes does not allow me to cover the full body thoroughly. By 'full body' massage I mean that no part of your body will be neglected, including hands, feet, scalp, face, and more private areas. Again, since my concern is with your comfort zone, I will not touch any part of your body you do not want touched. My rate is $1 per minute, you decide how long a session you would like. I work out of my house (just moved here in February) which is 6 blocks inside 285 off the Chamblee-Dunwoody Rd exit. I live alone with my two cats, Hassle and Ijit, and am available for appointments literally 24-7. Some of my clients work graveyard shifts or are flight attendants and have had sessions at all odd hours. 03/06/10 Cason was prompt in returning my email with a phone call. He was origanized, helpful and ready to head to the airport asap...as I had limited time. When he arrived, he quickly set-up..very friendly and cordial at the same time. He brought his tvlg table...used a great oil, and if you have dry skin like me...it is most welcomed !! He disolved the knots in my upper back quickly..he re-applied the oil twice in most places, as with the dry winter air..the skin needs more moristurizing...and Cason did a GREAT job. He is strong and I loved the strokes he utilized. The feet were not overlooked, either. He is very through and a good listener too. I look very forward to my next massage by Cason. He is superb !!

09/23/09 Cason was delayed in responding as he had been ill. So pleased he responded when his health was okay and certainly lived up to the description of his massage. He is professional, well-trained in massage and intuitive techniques. I prefer a Swedish massage with special emphasis where needed....I could not have asked or expected such a great massage. Cason was intuitive to MY needs, relaxed me remarkedly, left nothing untouched. Just wish I had more time, but he was accommondating in "last minute" extension, even though he had other rehearsal commitment with his music...but, never felt rushed. I'll definitely return as often as we can arrange the time. The FINISH was fantastic....even the nice shower facilities.

- A life-long advocate of massage, Cason was raised in a unique massage environment, receiving a massage before bed every night from middle school through high school. Massage, to him, is as everyday as iced tea. Cason has also spent his life as a classical musician, earning a BA, MM, and DMA degree in performance, so he is familiar with the problems stemming from repetitive sports, musical, or artistic endeavors. Cason discovered yoga in 2003 and incorporates it into his approach as well.
