I specialize in Craniosacral Therapy. I also do Myofascial release, Swedish, and Deep Tissue(which does not mean I push really hard).
My hands draw power from the universe itself and they find the amazing energies in your own body to help heal you deep into the core of your being; deep within your soul and out through your mind into your body. When you come in to my studio you will feel safe, when you talk with me I will listen undividedly to what you need, then you will get on my table where it will become an instrument of healing and power to make you feel relaxed, refreshed and whole. I will be gentle, I will be strong, I will never do harm to your body, mind or soul. I work not just the surface of your body but deep into your spine and through to your core and I will always check in with you to make sure that the healing you need is taking place.
I play music, but not in the same room so it isn't pervasive. I have essential oils if you like to smell something fragrant to excite your senses, I have heat on the table and I love to take my time. Nothing should be rushed. I typically have some manner of fresh juice or water if yuo'd like. From Craniosacral therapy to Swedish and Deep Tissue, I employ many different techniques to help release tension and stress from deep within you. After the massage I ask how you feel and you are always more than welcome to relax for a few minutes and come back into your own reality before getting dressed.
Here is my view on Sensual Massage: Any type of massage can be sensual beacuse it excites your senses. The body is a beautiful creation and it's senses should be stimulated in healthy and appropriate ways. Some of these chain massage places feel so clinical and cold, which is why I have my own practice. I celebrate every body and the energy within whether you be male or female, asian, white, tall, short, skinny or large. I work on the full body: glutes, abs, thighs, cranium; this is the sensual aspect of my work. I do not offer sexual experiences, please respect this apsect of my work.
My client's are my only care and my focus on them is paramount; moreover, I am not a mind reader. If you have expectations of me and how you want your massage to go, I need to know that, please communicate appropriately. Please, come and experience true healing and gratification of the mind, body and soul.

03/19/12 Michael is the best. He was polite and respectful. I made my appointment one day in advance by phone. His apartment studio is easy to find and very comfortable. He uses a wide table and I was very comfortable as I am bigger than most. Michael has a great touch. He does great deep work and doesn't miss a muscle. Michael is my main therapist from now on.

03/17/12 Michael's ad caught my eye a few weeks ago, & I've been wanting to schedule an appointment with him ever since. I finally bit the dust & did it today! Perfect timing, as he was running a 3 day special on 2 hour massages for St. Patrick's Day! I wasn't sure if I would get a same day appointment or not. I called after work and Michael had availability so I scheduled a 2 hour massage. It was my 1st ever two hour massage, but it won't be my last! He maximized every minute. I have used several masseurs in the ATL area!~ Michael is the best I have. His strong hands & techniques are 2nd to none. Michael cares about his clients and it shows in all ways. I felt a connection with him the minute he started my massage! I so look forward to my follow up appointmentS, because there WILL be more~

05/07/11 As someone who likes to work with a gay-friendly male masseur but who is *not* looking for a sexual encounter, I was very happy to find Michael. His location is easy to find, appointments are easy to schedule online, and his rates are definitely too low for the quality of service he provides. His in-home studio is inviting, spotless, and relaxing. When weather permits, a massage on his outside deck is also possible. Michael is one of those few masseurs who are genuinely "into" the massage. He's focused on you, not watching the clock or planning his evening. He is aware of you, of what's going on in your body, ready with options, and open to suggestions. I had doubts about the whole "craniosacral" massage approach, as I generally prefer Swedish or deep tissue techniques. That said: I decided to let Michael lead the way on this, and I'm glad I did. For three days after the massage, I felt lighter - almost like having a "buzz." Friends noticed it, too, because a number of people said, "Wow. You're just glowing!" If you're just looking for a sexual experience packaged as a massage, you should shop elsewhere, because Michael's not offering those services. But if you're looking for one of the most competent, effective, sensitive, and genuinely transformative massage experiences in Atlanta, you should schedule an appointment with Michael right away.

03/19/11 It was extremely easy to make appt with Michael through his online reservation system.I have never been massaged like what Michael does.It was low impact and nurturing.After the massage he mentioned some stuff happening in my body that only I knew.I have had a car crash a few years ago but he figured it out although I don't have any signs of it on my body. I had an extra lift in my stride after the massage.The only wish that it was a little sensual which I am used to. I will definitely visit him for my healing.

02/18/11 Michael is the most unique and effective massage therapist I have ever come across. My session started with his Craniosacral techniques which have the effect of causing complete relaxation. He has the gift of being able to read your head and spine and he induces relaxation with the lightest touch you can imagine. He followed up the Craniosacral session with the most intuitive and gentle traditional massage session I have ever experienced. When it was over, I was nearly without words. Michael was able in two sessions to reverse tension and pain in my lower back that have been dogging me for years. And he did it in the gentlest way you can imagine. Michael makes me wish I lived in Atlanta!

Graduating from NMTI in Falls Church, VA in 2004, Michael focused on connective tissue dysfunction which led him to learn about Craniosacral therapy and its amazing effects on the body.
