03/28/10 I've been checking out Leo's ad for quite some time, but finally made an appointment, which was very simple through texting. His pictures look amazing and I can attest that they are very accurate, except that they don't capture how nice of a person Leo truly is. He welcomed me into his clean apartment, lit with candles and offered me water. He's just as fit as his pictures show, if not more, and he's got a great smile. He gives a strong massage but not painful, and not just an elbow pushing down hard - he mostly uses his strong, big hands with occasional stretches in between. He is the first masseur who I truly enjoyed talking with during the massage - he's got such a positive personality plus the conversation never distracted him from his technique. It was consistent, thoughtful, and intuitive. I felt that this very masculine man gave me a very thorough, strong massage which felt very therapeutic yet not cold/clinical. If I can get to NYC again next week I'm planning on booking another appointment with him.

03/20/10 I am new to this site and have only had 2 other experiences with masseurs, both of whom very much exaggerated their stats, weight, and ages. In both cases, the massages were perfunctory and unskilled. NOT what I was looking for! Leo's ad interested me because he was very explicit about offering only a massage, not a quickie, and he seemed legit. I left a message for Leo and he called back less than 2 minutes later. I was surprised to hear a thick Brazillian accent as he looks so All-American jock in some of his pictures. I told him I was concerned that "deep tissue" from such a big man might be too much for me, but he assured me he could adapt to a lighter touch if I needed it. Leo gave me an appointment for about 3 hours later. When he answered the door, my first thought was that he was gigantic! No exaggeration on the height, although his waist seems much slimmer than in his photos. Not that it matters one way or another. The massage was really excellent. Years ago I had a friend studying at the Swedish Institute who used to experiment on me, so I knew some of the techniques: Swedish on my neck and back, Reflexology on my feet, Shiatsu on my legs. The couple of times the pressure was too intense, I only had to mention it and he adjusted accordingly. Leo worked on my entire body without any teasing or sending any mixed signals, which I really appreciated. For a man who would have no reason to look at me twice in the "real" world, the whole time I was there I didn't feel old or fat or "less-than". Thanks, Leo. You can't find ANY legit message in NYC for less than $75, so Leo's rate was entirely reasonable and appropriate, plus I was giving my money to another member of the community, which is important to me. My back and neck feel so much better! It was a totally stress-free experience, and I will definitely go back.

08/28/06 Leo performs a wonderful deep tissue massage. This was the second time I visited him. He has incredibly strong hands that dig in deeply to any trouble spots. Leo is very muscular and uses his entire arms to massage. I am a tall man and have never had such a thorough massage. Leo is friendly but quiet and spiritual throughout the massage. If you are looking for a strong thorough massage Leo is your man.

05/10/06 I first saw Leo in March, booked him again for the following week and have seen him 4 or 5 times. Leo is unique. He gives a legit massage and is very clear about his boundaries, but somehow he manages to make the massage very pleasurable and not at all clinical. Technically, he really knows what he's doing; he's aware of tensions and problem places and he knows how to work them; he has very strong hands; you feel very safe with him because he's very attentive about injuries etc. and not hurting you; but he's not afraid to use deep pressure. Leo is also this very cool, very sensitive, perceptive Brazilian, who seems to like people a lot; he talks about his spirituality etc. on his website but he really means it. He's a good man, with a big heart who isn't afraid to connect, but he's also very grounded, not spacy or weird or New Agey. He's a therapist and a healer, not judgmental; I think he really likes helping people. He's also very handsome with broad shoulders and strong hands and beautiful eyes and a great smile.

02/06/05 A business meeting was cancelled and I phoned Leo; as good fortune would have it, within an hour I was on his table. He's a charmer: handsome, professional, thorough and strong. The massage was one of the best I've ever had (of hundreds); the space was pleasant and the music was great. Upon leaving, I joked with Leo that he had transformed me from 5'10 to 6'2. I felt terrific. I'll definitely schedule another appointment; the man is a terrific masseur.

01/28/05 WOW. This was my 2nd visit to Leo, for a 90-minute massage, and it was fantastic. Even better than the first one. Leo is polite and professional, and takes his massage work very seriously. The atmosphere in his apartment is very soothing & welcoming... and don't be intimidated by the good looks and great body - he's a very nice guy. The thing I really liked about his massage is that he's not afraid to really dig in and work your muscles. Some massage therapists are just too gentle, or they're too polite/clinical in their touch. Leo works your body like he knows every inch of it. I also like that his routine is very consistent - exactly the same both times I've been there. He's really thorough. He starts with your back ( a little shiatsu mixed with the swedish) and works your neck and shoulders, then works on your arms, and then focuses on your legs for a while. When you turn over, Leo works on your chest and shoulders and arms, then back to your feet and legs, and finishes up with some acupressure on your face. He also does this great thing where he gets onto the table with you to get leverage, and puts his weight into massage. So, at the end of a blissful 95 minutes, I slowly eased myself up and felt about 2 inches taller. My sore back isn't sore anymore, and I feel like I just want to climb into bed and melt into a nice night's sleep.

07/24/04 Leo is a man of integrity and passionate about massage. He intuitively zeros in on the areas of my body that hold stress and tension, and works them out like magic.Leo works his magic with his big hands and warm touch checking in with me to make sure he is applying the right amount of pressure. Leo is not only great at giving massage but is also very personable and easy to talk to. You'll know this for yourself after your first massage with him. This was not my first massage by Leo, I'm a regular client now with a standing appointment on Tuesday night!

07/06/04 I've just returned from one of the most incredible massages ever. The massage it self took place in a small yet cozy space and was accompanied by some great tunes. The masseur, Leo, was very skillful at his craft and would periodically inquire as to how I was doing and to confirm that the pressure was OK. But what makes this such an experience is the unbelievable warth radicating from Leo and his great smile. Thank for everything.

02/02/04 Saw Leo's pic on AOL(GREAT PICS)very sexy was intown and looking for a massage. Made an appointment online. Leo was nice..looks like his picture. But if you expect anything more then a legit massage, look elsewhere. He kept his pants on. I wish I had know I would have kept mine on as well. If my masseur is dressed then I want to be dressed as well. But a small quibble. Great massage, well trained. The place is small and the massage is done on his bed but it works well. Just remember it is strictly legit, with no release and no touching but a good, strong massage nonetheless.
