Michael is the real thing.. He responded to my call and set an appointment to date and time I needed. I was in from out of town working ,had a lower back problem and stress in my shoulder. I needed deep tissue work and he followed through. He is turly one of the nicest men I've met. Great energy made me comfortable and relaxed right as I walked in the door. I had a 90 min. session so he had to put out a lot of energy to get through. He did not let me down.. I will be returning every time I'm in town and can not thank him enough. I feel I have made a friend as well as the man to get the knots out.. Thank you ..

This was my second massage with Michael. As always to schedule an appointment was easy. His studio is very comfortable and conveniently located. He has hands of gold as he works every muscle. I will definitely be back to see him again soon. If you ever have the chance treat yourself to one of his massages you will not be disappointed.

I called Michael, do to the reviews on his web site. I had just moved to the city about 6 months ago and had not received a massage in that amount of time. I arrived a mess, stressed, tense and just in need of a caring hand. I was greeted by a big smile and warm heart (He's a big sexy teddy bear). I laid on his table and Michael did his magic. I could feel my body just slowly melt with his touch. He has a strong touch and is not afraid to go where he is needed. I also loved that he is not shy and that helped me be more at ease laying on the table. I will defiantly be going back to Michael for another session.

I stumbled upon Michael's ad and was so impressed with the reviews (and his pictures!) that I decided to give him a call. He was able to take me last-minute on a Saturday afternoon. Wow - what a fantastic hour. Michael is masculine and strong and went right for all the knots and spots, helped me stretch my entire lower body, and was not skimpy with the deep pressure! I was in heaven - not only is he a well-trained, deep tissue masseur but he was warm and kind and handsome and made me feel right at home. Worth every penny, I cannot wait to go back!

What can I say but you have to book a massage with Michael. His techniques were excellent. From setting up the appointment to the actual massage everything went smoothly. His studio is set up nicely and easy to get to. He is such a gentleman and is more handsome in person. After I left I was so relaxed and rejuvenated. That night was the best sleep I have ever had.

I've been going to Michael regularly for about 3 years now, and he is still the first and only masseur I ever recommend to friends. He shows continual and real involvement in his work, focuses on you and only you for your entire time, completely knows what he is doing from a technical standpoint, is attune to your immediate needs and requests, and does it all with the hottest musclebear body in Chelsea, and and the sweetest spirit imaginable. I can't imagine anyone NOT being completely happy and satisfied with the time they will spend with him - anyone reading this who hasn't tried him yet needs to pick up the phone and call him. He's quite simply the best.

Really? What more can be said??? A perfect gentleman! A sweet soul! And GORGEOUS AS ALL GET OUT! lol Easy to set up an appointment. Friendly. Easy to talk to. Great energy. I felt right at home in his apartment. Great massage skills rubbing my body from head to toe. working all the kinks out of my back. Strength to get the knots out, but gentle enough not to kill! Gave plenty of advice on how to avoid the knots in the future... but I want them there so I can come back and see him! Had a great time and was sad when my 90 min were up... Michael is the real-deal! Strong hands, great sense of touch, very intuitive massage technique. He finds the knots and works them out. He also took the time to show me some stretches that will help ease the tightness in my neck and shoulders. Michael is friendly and has a great energy that help put you at ease, so you can enjoy the experience. I highly recommend him. I will definitely see him again. M&Chelsea

my experience with michael was impeccable from start to finish i texted him the day before and he graciously responded he's very friendly and warm and is 100 percent present his hands are so powerful and strong and he obviously has a keen intuition to zero in on problem areas of the particular individual he is working on i will definitely return to him on a regular basis g

Michael is a real find. I can only agree with all the previous reviews. I had been having shoulder problems, and I mentioned this. Michael let his hands do the rest. I even came away with an new exercise to try and a bit of good health advice. His intuition was amazingly insightful. I'll definitely see him again.

Mike is very muscular and hairy which added to the excitement of the incredible massage he gave me. He is very strong and was able to vary the pressure to my comfort. He found few tight spots in my shoulders and glutes and worked on them until there were totally gone. I felt like I was melting under his bear paws. I will definitely return to him next time I am in New York City.

Michael is AMAZING. Did he attack my problematic shoulder and lower back areas? Yes. Did he go deep where my muscle knots called for it? You bet. He is thorough and NOT a clock watcher. He has an intuitive style that allows him to really get to the heart of your issues. But he's also something much more. After just a short time, I felt as if I had known him for years. He's a truly beautiful person with a lot of sensitivity to those around him. I will be back again and again!

i was very jet lagged and quite by chance, came across michael's advertisement. he answered me promptly and we set up an appointment. when i arrived, michael was very warm and friendly and showed me to his massage room. after determining my areas that needed attention we proceeded with the massage. it was honestly one of the best massage experiences that i have had. he not only worked on my problems, but also found an old injury and managed to ease some of the tension there as well. my jet lag was also helped as i came home and had a refreshing nap. i would highly recommend michael as a masseur and look forward to my next visit with him.

I have been following Michael for a while, but the schedule never worked out right. However, with a late dinner cancellation, I texted Michael to see whether a last minute appointment was available. To my delight, he was, and we scheduled a 90 min appointment. His apartment was easy to locate. Once I arrived, he directed me to a dedicated room, with the massage table set up. Michael was charming and friendly, and every bit of a furry muscle bear that he is. The massage technical was professional and sensual at the same time, with the right amount of pressure for my "office worker/mouse user" problem areas. He definitely added his personal touch (no pun intended) and flair, and it was above and beyond what was expected. Thanks for the great experience - definitely will return!
