08/19/11 Mike showed up right on time and brought with him his wonderfully positive attitude toward, well, everything! Also brought some new massage techniques - in addition to back and front massage, he had me on my side for shoulder manipulations that worked right away without the clavicle pain that some more usual movements can bring. He worked hard at solving muscular problems and satisfying the universal craving for humane, respectful and guilt-free physical attention. It was 90 minutes well spent and because he listens and responds to requests and bodily complaints so intently, it is an extremely fine memory.

04/26/10 I called Mike earlier in the day and told him I needed a massage. he gave me directions and got there on time after losing my way initially. From the telephone conversation to my welcome at the door, he was so friendly. Once I got in sat down, he helped to take my footwear off and work on my feet, while I slowly relaxed. I was stranded in NEW YORK, and was a bit upset, but Mike worked on me very well. He was excellent, I lay in the nude on the massage table, and he was nude also. He was professional, firm, sensuous, touching the correct zones at different times, and was so gentle, funny and also a great listener. he gave me a massage worth remembering, and I felt as if he was not watching the clock. he gave me 110% attention, and we seem to get on very well together. Since I was still in NY a week later I called him but he was busy, but he very nicely called me, just to check in on me and to know if I had got my flight from JFK to Europe. I can recommend MIke to anyone who likes and appreciates massage and who are not afraid of mutual touch.

03/06/10 I have seen Mike many times over the years. The most important fact? He is an incredible massage therapist, one of the very best (if not the best?) I have ever encountered. I suffer from lower back pain, and his work in that area is remarkable. In addition he is charming, a great conversationalist (if you want it), smart, funny, and handsome as hell. But what comes through the most is his warmth and kindness: Mike just has a big heart. His studio is comfortable, safe, and inviting, and when you are with him, you have his full attention. I feel like a new man after an appointment. In fact, why have I waited three weeks to go back? Take my advice: give Mike a call.

04/22/09 I called Mike for an appointment on the same day and he graciously accepted. The massage could not have been better! He is an excellent professional, and demonstrated a depth of caring and attention that provided me with much needed encouragement as he worked on me. My body totally relaxed under his care, and I found myself almost literally on the proverbial cloud as he gave me what I sensed was his very best. You can't go wrong with this masseur! I recommend Mike wholeheartedly, and look forward to our next session with great anticipation.

01/07/09 Mike is so much fun I almost forgot why I went to his place. But seriously, this is the only masseur who can realign my spine and put me totally at ease in under 3 minutes. He is funny, has excellent technique, is nimble and a really nice guy. It was a cold day, so he pulled out his readied heating pad, which quickly took away the chill. After the session, he offered me the shower and a drink, then we chatted for a bit. This man is a titan of pleasure all wrapped up in a handsome package.

12/30/08 I travel to NYC at least once a year and I scan and scan the ads for just the right guy, and this time BINGO! I got it right. Everything already said on the other reviews is absolutly right, from the first call to the end of the massage. Over the phone I could tell how sweet and caring he was, and he was eager to help me find a time that was good for both of us. There is definitely no attitude here, as I have found with others. His complete focus is serving you, and boy does he ever. The massage was wonderful and like the others said, he has some moves I've never seen before and he uses his entire cute body. I can't say enough good things about him, masculine, good-looking, expert massage therapist, and he actually has a personality. He checks in with you to see if everything is ok several times, talks when he needs to and then is quiet when you just want to savor each moment with him. This is the guy to call guys, and I can't wait to go back to him.

11/11/08 When I phoned, Mike was friendly and accommodating even though he had other appointments to fit me between. He gave me clear directions and was ready when I arrived. His massage bed is wondefully comfortable and together with the music and candles make for a special space to relax. Mike is fantastic. I had the most superb massage, best ever. And he is such a nice guy, I felt comfortable with him right away. He is smart, humorous and an absolute master of his craft as he uses his hands and body with amazing flexibility and skill. I have seldom felt so nurtured and cared for as he gave his undivided attention to working on me so expertly. I have not needed any further treatment since then and usually need more than one session to fix my back and neck. He is also no clock watcher. He went well over time without even noticing, and I was in such a relaxed space I had lost complete track of time. I arrived a stranger and left a friend. I will look no further for a massage therapist in NYC.

10/09/08 Mike returned my call promptly, and we set up a session in his apartment in Woodside, Queens. This was one of the best massages I ever had in the five years I've been receiving them. First, Mike is a trained masseur who knows what he's doing; this isn't a light rubdown. He knows how and what to stretch, knead, apply pressure, etc. He weaves the more sensual elements of the massage into the "legitimate" elements, easily responding to what I wanted and didn't want. He's a witty, intelligent, person who is DEFINITELY not a clock watcher. I could have stayed on his table all night, and I was the one who finally called it an evening, not him. Mike is now one of the few masseurs who I intend to return to many times.

05/28/08 I'm almost speechless. Almost. Let's get the easy questions out of the way: Mike is easy to contact (saw me with very short notice), easy to get to and a very handsome fellow. But the massage itself is unlike anything I've experienced. He employs a lot of stretching throughout he massage to great effect - and some of the most helpful stretching (and unusual) I've ever encountered. But the main event is the massage itself. He uses he strong hands and full body to great effect, working his way head to toe in every imaginable (and some surprisingy unimaginable) ways; on the table with you, using his entire body to get to areas that constantly surprise and delight, pushing you ever deeper into one of the most blissful states I've ever entered. He's also incredibly charming, checking in with you throughout, always in contact both physically and emotionally. I will definitely be back; but hopefully I'll have a terrible time making an appointment because this is an experience nobody shouldn pass up.

05/07/08 The first thing I learned about Mike is that it's faster to make an appointment with him over the phone than by sending an email from this site (SPAM filters can be a pain!). When we spoke he was warm and affable on the phone and easily fit me into his schedule. We discussed my needs (shoulder bursitis and lower back pain) and I could tell he was making notes. I liked that. At the appointed day and time I arrived to find a handsome, smiling, and very friendly guy. We took a few minutes to chat and to get to know each other over a beverage. When we were ready, he escorted me into his separate massage room (another plus!), we both disrobed (he asked first of course), and I hopped on the table. Mike immediately went to work warming up my body and muscles and then began administering the best massage I have had in years. His touch was both firm and tender and he is incredibly thorough! he massaged muscles I forgot I had. Throughout the experience he would check in with me to make sure he wasn't massaging too deep. He also took extra time on the areas we discussed which I greatly appreciated. What other reviewers have said is true: because of Mike's shorter stature and athletic build, he climbs right up on the table with you and puts his whole self into the massage. I left Mike's studio feeling refreshed and relaxed ... and the bursitis pain in my shoulder has greatly diminished. Mike's massage was truly a body-awakening and, at times, spirit-enlightening experience. I cannot recommend him enough if you want a truly professional massage with a handsome and warm masseur! I will be returning for sure.

04/21/08 I called Mike early on a Sun. morning, before I started work...yeah, I work retail! He said that he could see me that same evening, and gave me directions on how to get to his apt. I arrived on time and was greeted at his door by a smile. He started right away finding out what I did that day and where I had traveled from. His massage room was set up in a seperate room and had soft music and lighting as well as a massage table. He talked to me as if we were old friends and began to work his magic on my body. Mike is a small in stature guy but who else could climb up on the table and use both his arms and knees to relax the knots in my back?! There were several techniques that he admitted to not having learned at massage school. Each more relaxing and placing me in an element of trust. I even reminded him that our time was about up and he said ," don't worry - this is about you receiving the best massage!" As I was about to leave he offered me grapes and jelly beans.....how sweet was that?!!!!!!

03/04/08 Very sexy, compact, handsome and strong, that is the best way to discribe him. He really knew what to do to provide a great massage. He quickly put me at ease, and had a well furnished, well equipped and comfortable massage studio, full of candles and luxurious oils. Great hot towel treatment and used his limber body to strech out all my sore muscles. His separate massage room from the rest of the space is an added intimate feature. Cannot say enough about the great massage and his great intuition in finding and healing my specific concerns. I highly recommend him, to any person. I will definately return! also geat conversationalist...if you so desire!

03/02/08 Mike won me over just by his warmth and genuine friendliness on my first call to him!It was a damp, chilly Friday evening in February that I had driven into the city and I was stiff, sore, feeling neglected and in need of attention and a good hug. Well Mike provided all of that and on such short notice. His Woodside, Queens apt. is easy to get to and is very comfortable. He has a separate room dedicated to his craft...relaxing music, soft lighting, a huge array of scented oils and potions, and comfortable massage table. This was our first meeting but Mike made me feel like an old friend right away. He has a great smile, and open, friendly, trusting manner. He is very handsome, very well built, and looks much, much younger than 40. He asked me a few questions to determine where my most problem stress areas are (neck, shoulders, lower back etc) and he got right to work. I was shocked when I got on his table because his massage technique is so different from what I have been used to. I get massages 2-to-4 times a month, and I've had some very good ones, but Mike stands well above the rest. It is so obvious that Mike loves what he does, and that he is very proud of his skills and he takes each massage and each client seriously. He went right to work on my tight muscles and intuitively knew just what to do to relax them. I couldn't help purring like a kitten. He seemed to use every sort of technique and pressure together in that one session. Mike also stretches you in addition to massaging you. It worked. And he uses all of his body during the massage. What was great was that he often cuddled and cradled parts of me or all of me with his body at the same time that he was working out the kinks. I mean it...his massage was better than sex. Mike is number one on my list now. One hour in his capable hands is worth twice the $100 fee that he charges for incalls! Mike is also very hospitable...I felt like a friend, not a client.

02/28/08 My massage with Mike was a memorable one. His phone etiquette was great. I picked up on his friendliness and professionalism right away, which is unique to a lot of bodyworkers, and was a little surprised by his lack of attitude after seeing those hot pictures of him in his ad. He treats you like an individual, not just another number. He is a big masculine guy with strong has and a great touch. I will definitely see him again when returning to NYC and recommend his massage!
