I made the call Monday Morning due to a body grooming mishap that a friend performed on me, as his shaving guard kept slipping, leaving me patchy. Joey returned the call around 11AM. He gave me his schedule and we agreed on a time. He went to GREAT lengths to see to it that I found his place with as little hassle as possible. He told me the trains, the landmarks, the blocks to walk, and even offered to meet me and walk me back himself. He was extrememly personable both on the phone and in person and made me feel very comfortable. We got to his place, and to the bathroom we went. He grabbed the clippers and the razors and he cleaned up my back, and evened out the length of hair on my chest and legs using his electric clippers. He too saw that too much hair was removed but he shaved it such that you didn't notice the patches anymore. He even worked a bit on my neck and my feet, and throughly inspected every part of me until I was thoroughly satisfied with the end-result. He brought me to the mirror repeatedly and would notice things even I missed. I will see him again for certain for massage if his body grooming is any indication of his talents.

From my initial response to my phone call, Joey was warmly receptive, friendly, articulate and accommodating with regard to our mutual schedules in setting up an appointment. He was equally welcoming when I met him, relaxed and assured, putting me immediately at ease. He asked professionally whether I had any areas of the body that needed special work with massage, or any problem areas. I indicated I wanted a general overall body massage, and that is what I received from him. His work area (incall) was pleasant with music and incense, and clean, and I felt totally relaxed. The massage itself was thorough with firm touch and strokes that worked all the muscles well. At the same time the hands were sensitive to the touch, and caring. I can judge a good massage in part when my breathing deepens and my limbs let go, as indeed my body. Joey engenders trust so that I could give myself to the experience. He did not talk through the massage except for occasional questions or comments on my body, and I like the silence, giving in to the massage experience. I do occasionally also say a few words in response to the experience. The oils he used were pleasant in their aroma. He did not rush the massage, nor rush the conclusion after the massage when I was dressing. The massage eased off with some stretching and relaxed, unhurried conversation in transition to leaving the massage area. It was a totally satisfying experience and I recommend Joey highly to anyone else. Rob

What a great experience...afer arriving at Joey's place, he offered me a glass of water, tea, soda, etc...and proceeded to be so nice to me. He saw I was little nervous...and couldn't have been sweeter. His massage was "like from another planet"...I was in 7th Heaven throughout...his was a deep touch when it needed to be, and a soft touch at other times...he seemed to know what parts of my body were "weak" and needed more attention than others...I cannot rave enough about Joey's handling of me...he will see me again, I hope...please go see Joey...you won't regret it...he's the best

I called Joey and was able to get an appointment the same day. He was great to talk to on the phone - and then even better in person :) I don't know Brooklyn well, but it's an easy ride from Manhattan on the Q train, in a really nice neighborhood ('Midwood' I think?) I arrived a few minutes late, but Joey was totally understanding. His apartment really sets the right mood for the massage, from the incense and candles, to the tea (try the herbal peach! :) to the music which I find soooo much more pleasant than the typical new age stuff. The massage itself was simply delicious. He used a combination of massage, stretching and other techniques that left me feeling terrific - exactly the kind of physical and mental lift you want from the experience... just writing about it makes me want to go back already!

JOEY IS THE REAL DEAL! HE IS THE MOST HUMAN PERSON ATTACHED TO A PAIR OF THERAPUTIC HANDS I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING. I AM NOT A NOVICE OF PERSONAL MASSAGE AND I TAKE MASSAGE VERY SERIOUSLY! HIS HANDS AND BODY ARE LIKE HEAT SEEKING MISSLES AIMED AT THE PAIN WE ALL CAN CARRY FROM THE STRESS OF THE WORLD. HIS PRESENTATION IS PROFESSIONAL BLENDED WITH THE SENSUALITY OF THE HUMAN TOUCH AND SEXUALITY. YOU WOULD BE WISE NOT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE "FAKES" OUT THERE. SO BRING YOURSELF TO JOEY AND LET HIM EASE YOU INTO A BETTER PLACE.
