ABOUT THE MASSAGE
I am a fully licensed professional massage therapist with 16 years of experience.
My clients include men and women from all walks of life and professions: dancers, athletes of all sorts, and anyone looking for healing time.
I incorporate a variety of techniques from my training in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu and Reflexology. The work can be intensely deep, or gently relaxing according to your needs, but I always listen first to your body. My clients consistently experience relief from muscular discomfort after their first treatment.

I work on a professional table (a standard tool of the trade) in my apartment - a comfortable space with a calming atmosphere generated through unobtrusive music and my own sense of inner peace. Deep, muscle-focused work in the areas you need it most are balanced with gentle pressure and kneading techniques to other areas of your body. You will leave as blissful as I feel when I am working on you.

11/23/11 This was my second session with Tom in as many months; he's well worth a repeat visit! When I arrived, he offered water and the use of his facilities. He went right to work on me on his professional, well-padded table, knowing exactly where I needed help. I don't remember it from my first session, but this time he used (for lack of a better term) standing pressure rather than vibration to initially loosen my lower back and neck/shoulders. It was just what I needed. Scalp and face massages were the perfect preludes to going deep on my back and front, respectively. The rest of the massage covered the entirety of my body except for my toes and the soles of my feet. I left a happy man.

09/28/11 Tom worked with me a couple days in advance to schedule an appointment right after my flight arrived in town. His place is on the west side of Midtown, very convenient. The building is large but once inside his place you see a nice, tranquil, well-decorated apartment with a very comfortable table in his living room. Tommy has excellent technique - firm but adjustable to the pressure you like. He worked out a number of knots in my back and overall made me feel great. Tom is also very attractive, sweet, and sexy too - I will definitely be back!

09/13/11 Tommy was very accommodating in scheduling a session as I was coming from out of town and mass transit was questionable after Hurricane Irene. I misjudged the walking time from Grand Central Terminal to his highrise apt, so I arrived a couple of minutes late and a bit sweaty. After a quick shower and a glass of cold water, I laid face down on his professional table and draped myself with an extra towel he had left for me. He came out of another room dressed in brief shorts. His pix are very accurate. He asked if I had any medical concerns or any areas on which I wanted him to concentrate. I told him I had wrenched my lower back earlier in the week (no damage, just sore), and that I tended to keep my tension there and in my neck and shoulders. He went right to work and zeroed in on exactly those trouble spots without my having to be more specific. At the end of the session, he cradled my head in his hands as he massaged my neck, scalp, and forehead. Tommy gave a great massage and made me feel like I'd found a long-lost brother; I will most definitely be a repeat customer!

05/20/11 I recently treated myself to a last-minute lunch-hour massage with Tom—and what an excellent way to spend that hour. When I arrived, Tom had everything ready to go in his beautiful midtown apartment. His massage table was clean and very comfortable—I honestly could have settled in for a nap before he even laid his hands upon me. Tom, who is adorable and very fit, is truly a master of this craft. I was not exaggerating when I told him afterward that it was quite likely the best massage I have ever received. Incredibly thorough and psychically attentive to sore areas not previously mentioned to him, you will not regret leaving your body to his hands. I can’t wait to see him again.

03/18/11 I phoned Tom the day before, seeking an appointment on Wed. He got back to me quickly, sounding very personable and friendly. When I arrived, Tom greeted me with a big smile - so welcoming. His studio is very attractive and comfortable. He used a variety of massage techniques, effortlessly blending shiatsu with soothing Swedish-type strokes. Glorious. I felt transported - during, and after the session. Tom is a SUPERB massage therapist, personally warm and engaging, as well. And did I mention waaay handsome? With sparkling eyes? 02/17/11 Only about twenty minutes after my massage was over this afternoon did I suddenly realize that I felt more limber, and less pain, than I have in months. For more than three weeks I had had a constant lower-back ache, muscle spasms in my upper back, and lots of neck tension - so much that I couldn't sleep. Tom made all of that go away in the space of 60 minutes. His studio is clean, attractive, and quiet; he is kind, low-key, and thoroughly professional. He is an excellent masseur and I will recommend him to my friends as well as return for more.

01/14/11 I had been to Tommy once before. The first time was for a specific lower back issue which he handled with a lot of grace and wisdom. The second time was six months later for overall body therapy. During both of my visits I was treated with a lot sensitivity and respect. Tommy clearly likes to connect with his clients and build a long term relationship. Above all, I trust him. Massage is an intimate modality and he is someone I believe who will never break that trust.

06/10/10 Tommy has been my "best kept secret" when it comes to massages in New York City. I discovered him in 2006, and I have been going back ever since. Tommy's setup is perfect: professional table, high-quality cream, soothing music, and clean work area. But what makes him truly unique is his ability to intuit your needs and employ his fantastic technique and training to really work out the kinks. I've had a pesky neck/upper back issue that sometimes comes without warning, and Tommy is the one masseur I can count on to really work it out. His talent and caring are truly evident in his work. I would rank him in the top 3 of all masseurs I have ever been to (dozens and dozens, I've lost count). He is well worth his fee.

06/09/10 Tom is a wonderful massage therapist: he listens to the client and most importantly, pays attention to the client's body. I incorporated Tom into my physical therapy regiment in order to help my shoulder and neck areas and his massages are the best I have experienced in years. He is the utmost professional: on time, clean and respectful. 06/09/10 My inital contact with Tom was very timely and pleasant and it was quite easy to make an appointment. I have recently begun going to Tom when I am in New York. I have a lower back issue and Tom has been very instrumental in alleviating my discomfort in this particular area. His attention to other muscular issues such as my shoulders has also been addressed to my satisfaction. His apartment and immediate surroundings are quite pleasing and all this adds to an excellent massage experience. 06/08/10 I have visited Tom more than half a dozen times since the beginning of the year. He is so far the best masseur I have encountered. He was attentive and responsive, and he took his time to work on my body one area at a time. His routine changes with my specific needs each time I visit, and it always worked great. His place is clean, discrete and relaxing, and he makes you feel at ease the minute I met him. I will certainly recommend Tom to anyone who appreciates a good message.

12/13/09 I met with Tom on a Tuesday. The two Sundays prior, I had been at the gym working on my legs and then I topped it off with the NYC Ballet Work Out and then I got a wicked cold... so I didn't stretch as I do every day... my back went out. I went the chiropractor but I just could not get relief. I saw that Tom seemed legit. So I called. He was super nice on the phone. He was great giving easy directions. I came in from NJ. He is right outside the Lincoln Tunnel, in a beautiful safe space. The moment he greeted me at the door he put me at ease with his warmth and his handsome smile. He made sure time had lapsed since my back went out and made sure it was muscular and then he took care of me. He gave a deep body massage.. that I so needed. He is masterful, focused, and generous. He said, it would help if I went back later in the week because I was very tight. I did. I went back that Thursday. I am back at they gym and I feel great. Thanks Tom.

12/11/09 Tom is the most amazing masseuse. As a former performer in the theatre realm, I have been to many massage therapists and I can say that Tom is one of the best out there. He is highly attentive, very professional, and listens to your needs and will make you feel at ease. His years of experience as a massage therapist, were totally shown when my body which as been in pain for a few months, improved and felt restored.

11/27/09 I have been getting worked on by Tom for a couple of years now and I keep going back because he is so good! From the moment I call or text him, he is always prompt in replying and we're usually able to set up a time that works for both of us pretty quickly and easily. When I arrive, he's ready to work and the room he works out of is also prepped and ready to go. He makes me feel very welcome and I start to feel calmer as soon as I enter his apartment. His technique is expert -he asks if anything is bothering me that day and then gets to work, spending more time on areas which clearly need more attention, like my neck and shoulders. He's always friendly and polite and takes his time to do the job right. I always feel like I'm floating on a cloud by the time he's done with me -which is why I keep going back -that and he's very cute and professional and I love having his healing hands on me :) I think Tom is one of those people who has trained, yet intuitive, hands who really enjoys his work -and it shows because he's great at what he does.
