01/13/12 I have very little experience with massage and, specifically, sensual massage. I was in need of a good massage because of recent back pain. I really wanted an ACTUAL sensual massage from a strong gentleman and after reading Jax's advertisement here, I sent an email to Jax. He responded promptly with a directly-stated yet friendly email, indicating that he used an elevated, heated air mattress to perform massage versus a bed and I was pleased with that. We made arrangements for a same-day appointment and I arrived to his centrally-located hotel. Upon arrival to his hotel room, it felt like I had arrived to an otherworldly space. The lighting was indigo-tinted and set the mood. The room was appropriately warm with a humidifier. The music was at an appropriate volume and soothing without sounding trite and "too new-agey." The room was a bit too dark and if you like a very visual experience, this is not it. The experience was ethereal, cool and, obviously, thought out. Jax was immediately very friendly and accommodating, asking me if I wanted water or needed to shower first. I stated that I wished the massage to be high on the 'therapeutic' and light on the 'sensual' because I needed for pain relief overrode my need for anything carnal. I felt Jax heard and respected that. Still, the massage was done with us both nude. Not bad at all! The masseur is tall and beefy and strong. He immediately assessed my sore areas and gave me an incredible full-body massage with a focus on the problem areas. All the while, he generously offered his knowledge of anatomy and how to heal it. He even recommended a heating pad/lumbar pillow for future-use to manage any future back pain. The grapeseed oil he used was heated and low in fragrance. It felt great. The masseur is HIGHLY-skilled and gave an incredibly strong and thorough massage. I asked for lots of pressure and I got it! I would not be exaggerating or telling a lie by stating that this was the best massage I ever had. There was a 'release' because, well, we were two good-looking, naked dudes, but that wasn't my focus. I felt Jax focused on what I wanted him to focus on and that is a sign of great customer service. If I had requested more sensual, I felt he would have. He seems to be able to move easily between the cerebral and the sensual. Perhaps, next time more sensual. I highly recommend this masseur because he is smart, generous and I could tell, spiritually-attuned.

06/01/11 I saw Jax after 8 days of travel and hotel beds and boy did my muscles need some help. Jax responded really quickly to my text message and we were able to meet later on day I contacted him. After the massage he gave me, I felt really lucky and surprised. I was lucky because it is literally one of the best massages I have ever had. I was surprised that I was able to get on his calendar - yes, he is that good. Jax is great at what he does. A massage that good, with loads of warm massage oil, powerful hands that are like blood hounds when it comes to tracking down the tense knots of muscle, and just this great presence that allowed me to relax. It was just a fantastic experience with tough but tender touch, soothing music and an attention to detail that left me wanting more. I WILL see Jax the next time he is in DC that is for sure. You should see him when you have the time and need a great massage.

02/14/10 Jax is very easy to work with and set up an appointment and had a great set up even though he was traveling and the weather had messed things up. A warm smile greeted me at the door and after some getting to know each other, he had me laid out and working out the kinks. He's got wonderful finger and spectacular technique with his elbows. It was a wonderful relaxing setting and I definitely left happy.

12/23/09 I need to write this review. I met with Jax for the first time after reading his reviews online. I was curious to meet this person who had had so much good written about him. I am glad I did. Making the appointment was quite easy getting to his hotel was quite fine. When I walked in he realized I was coming from work and offered a shower. That was really nice. When I got finished we started the massage and he started getting me loosened. AND did he loosen me. I must tell you he met every fantasy I had. I had a sky rocketing 'ending' like I have not had since maybe being 21 (I am much older now). After my 'ending' he still continued to massage until I felt that I might snore as I was ushered into a bliss that was euphoric. Guys, I must confess that I did not expect what happened but I am a happy guy that I did go see him. It was my christmas gift to me and I am glad I got what I wanted. Thanks so much Jax. Please come back to Chicago soon.

12/21/09 Jax is an outstanding masseur with excellent skills and technique. But what really sets him a cut above the others is the wonderful ambiance he creates, including use of dvds, candles, music, and homemade, natural heated oils.
