ABOUT THE MASSAGE
My studio is in Brooklyn: twelve minutes from Union Square on the L line subway in East Williamsburg. I am also available for outcalls throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Thai Yoga Massage is a therapeutic combination of assisted stretching in reclining, supported poses using props and pillows while I massage and stretch the body. Some aspects of Thai are comparable to Western massage (eg, work done on the back) while other aspects are pleasantly surprising (foot massage, facial massage, the use of my feet and elbows on you during the session).
I also offer Therapeutic (restorative) Yoga. This involves spending up to ten minutes in a supported pose while reclining on props, doing breathwork, and guided meditation. It is very gentle and healing and I have had success with this technique on people dealing with mobility issues, cancer, HIV, grief, etc. I am also certifed in Hatha Yoga and offer training and support in that as well as Vinyasa Yoga. I am currently an active teacher.

10/10/11 I was not sure what to expect from a massage experience with Allan but he was very open and nice in our correspondence leading up to the actuall appointment so I felt good about choosing him. From the moment I walked into his apartment I knew my intuitions were correct, and the massage experience was more than I imagined it would be. I had never had a Thai Massage, but it turned out to be a very relaxing and unique experience. It would be unjust not to write a review. Allan has the ability to touch and apply pressure in ways that made me let go of stress and really enter into the experience. He knew exactly how much pressure to apply and how deep to go with the massage. Allan also has the unique ability to connect on many different levels - physical touch, emotinal, and social. He is a great conversationalist and put me at ease. He treated me as if we had been friends for a long time, and it was if I was the only person that mattered at that moment. I didn't want the experience to end, and will definitely book another appointment in the near future. Allan is a gifted masseur and a genuine kind of guy.

10/05/11 I'd never had a Thai Yoga Massage before so this was something new for me. The stretches were very helpful for my back which is often fatigued due to my work (office, desk, etc)..There were similar elements to a traditional massage (eg. footwork, etc), yet the session was on a mat on the floor rather than a table, and there was a facial massage using scented water. Allan is a good looking guy, very kind and has a good sense of humor. I'm thinking of setting up regular appointments with him because I felt safe and his prices are very reasonable. I liked the way Allan is both sexy yet professional. The appointment was at his apartment in Brooklyn which is large and clean. I filled out a brief health questionnaire (never did that before except at a spa) and the session began. He said I could wear what I liked so I chose to keep my briefs on as it was my first time and I did not want to imply that I wanted to have a sexual experience and I worried a bit about becoming aroused. One final note: I drive and there was plenty of street parking.

08/21/10 allan was tempting and incredible sexual. He used a wide range of pressure in our session. His forearms rubbed my hamstrings; he used his torso to put pressure on my back and has a manly touch. Coming from him l insured this man sex appeal that cannot be described. He looks just like his picture and is very sexy. The corporeal massage is what I was hoping for and I was very satisfied. I will go back for more as soon as I have the time.

11/14/09 I suffer from some back pain and had never had a Thai massage before. I contacted Allen and was immediately impressed and won over by his knowledge and warmth he expressed over the phone. I work long hours and have a thing for time and was extremely happy to have him be punctual for our appointment. Allen was nothing more than professional and caring and made me feel completely comfortable. I would recommend Allen especially if you've never had a Thai massage before. I look forward to our next appointment.

10/06/09 We talked on the phone a few times to set up the appointment and I decided to go to Allan's home in Brooklyn for an incall. He was friendly and professional on the phone. His apartment is cute and well kept and the work is done on the floor in a room that overlooks huge trees and a park. It was a nice environment. He's a good looking guy with a calm demeanor, very calm, down to earth, and respectful which put me at ease. I had not had a "Thai" massage, nor done yoga, so I didn't know what to expect. He explained that many of the stretches he'd be assisting me with mimic-ed yoga postures. Interesting. All I know is that it felt great. He gave me a fresh pair of socks to wear for the footwork he does (amazing). I am now sold on Thai massage. I felt rejuvenated and relaxed. At the end of the session, he gives a nice gentle facial massage. A nice touch. Yes, I will return to Allan again, definitely.

09/09/09 I had a session with Allan at my home in Manhattan and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an authentic Thai massage experience. Allan is gifted as a practitioner. He is obviously well trained and deeply intuitive. I felt safe and cared for in his hands at all times. I recommend Allan to anyone who has experienced Thai massage before as well and those who are new to this type of bodywork which involves deep stretching and breathwork. Allan left me feeling renewed and energized. I would definately hire him again.
