06/12/10 I called, got voice mail, Mark responded to me within the hour and set appointment. Arrived at studio, room was ready and warm, massage table had heated pad, everything clean and nicely appointed, soothing music in the background. Mark provided a bottle of water. The massage experience was excellent. His touch ranged from light and tantilizing to deeper and penetrating with Mark inquiring periodically as to appropriate pressure level. During the 90 minutes he massaged every inch of my body, including head & face as well as the feet. Mark is extremely professional while giving the impression that your total satisfaction is his goal. He reached the goal with me. After the massage, Mark prepared the warm shower which was in the studio. A totally relaxing and refreshing experience and I will become a regular client of his!

03/31/10 Set up the appt. by email as I was coming into town for a conference. All enquiries handled quickly, I was glad that his location was accessible by public transit as I didn't have a car. Mark made me feel at home from my arrival on his doorstep. I felt at ease, and I found him very professional. He was always checking on how I was feeling. I found his massage to be thorough, with a variety of strokes and technique - i thought his use of pressure was particularly good for me. He was aware of my needs and worked to make sure that i was totally destressed. He succeeded!

05/15/09 Mark is very pleasant on the phone. I was able to get a same-day appointment, though I would not have been surprised if his time was full for this day. His spacious massage studio is in the basement of his home, which is in a cozy southeast Portland neighborhood. Nice, comfortable table and clean shower for afterwards. Mark didn't rush through the massage at all. Asks about your comfort at various points during the massage. Mark's techniques vary from simple, relaxing strokes to deeper, more penetrating work. This is my second visit and will return again.
