MY BACKGROUND:
I am a NY State trained therapist with over 1,200 hours of instruction, including an ongoing study in Myofascial Release.
My studio is brand new, intimate, and clean and conveniently located in the heart of the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, with non-metered street parking available. PLEASE CALL ME TO SET UP YOUR SESSION, as I check email sporadically.

10/22/11 I had wanted to get a massage for a year or two, but could never work up the courage or choose a masseur. I had been drawn to J for a long time. His looks and the description of his services made it sound very appealing. I was also impressed with his training and reviews. I finally grew a set and called him in the afternoon, and he was able to schedule me that very evening. His voice on the phone sounded perfect for him. I showed up 20 minutes early just as he was returning with his dinner. He asked if I would mind coming back in ten minutes while he grabbed a bite. I didn't think that was enough time for him, so I did some window shopping in the trendy neighborhood he lives in. I came back at my scheduled time and he welcomed me into his spotless apartment. I have to say, in person, J is every bit as cute, if not cuter, than his photos. He did his intake interview with me, taking note of any medical conditions and asking what physical issues I needed worked on. Then he left the room while I disrobed and got on his table. The massage was absolutely perfect. Gentle and yet powerful in areas I needed it. He would frequently whisper gently in my ear, asking me if I was doing OK. I was more than OK. I was in nirvana! After the massage, he had a glass of water for me, and we chatted a bit while I got dressed. I had a two hour drive back to my home, and felt wonderful. The next day, I didn't experience any of the stiffness or aches and pains as I usually do. I can't wait to get another massage from this sweet, gentle, and adorable man. He's not only a fantastic masseur, he's someone I would consider it a privilege to call my friend. His other reviews are spot on! The worst part of the evening? I couldn't remember where I had parked my car! LOL If you're looking for a "rub and tug," look elsewhere. J is the ultimate professional.

05/31/11 I have had a good amount of massages in my life, and this rates as the best. :) I had emailed Jim, and within 2 hours he had called me to talk about our session. When we met, he was very warm and very knowledgeable. We discussed my specific needs, and after that I was in his hands, literally! I must say great hands and great energy. There is great balanced feeling in both his hard and soft touch. While working out the bad muscle with his strong hand, I could also feel, just as strongly, his soft hand, it was a nice surprise! He has a welcoming energy, and you can tell he loves what he does...Will go back again soon!

12/12/10 I've seen Jim many times... he is superb. Really, there's no other adjective to describe his work! He's sensitive to your needs, in tune with your body and has the ability to truly heal. Without question he's one of the best masseurs anywhere!

09/29/10 OMG - it has been fabulous!!!! I haven't had the pressure in the middle of my spine that feels like I need an adjustment. Also, my right arm hasn't tingled or fallen completely asleep since my appointment. YEAH!!!! I keep telling folks about it!

02/02/08 My first mid day Massage and It was Awesome. My day fell apart so i called jim early and got an awesome massage. J is the only masseur that actually took notes during our pre massage talk. he worked on my calves and feet as requested and i almost fell asleep. To be frank about it, J is extreemly good looking and easy to work with so my heart rate was a bit too fast to fall asleep. he made my afternoon. very personable. When in Philly call J

- Jim started bodywork over 10 years ago, in private practice for 5 years. Have studied and worked with many great teachers, including John F. Barnes, P.T.(Myofascial Release and Unwinding), Kai Ehrhardt (GayLoveSpirit: Berlin), Michael Buck (Thai Massage), Sandra Morningstar (Polarity Myofascial), among others. In addition, his work is influenced by Somato-Respiratory Integration(Breathwork), Network Spinal Analysis, Kundalini Yoga, Intuition, and the ideas of Chinese Medicine.
